I absolutely love William… he’s such a sweet little boy… he’s a credit to your parenting Vic… My son is now over 40 so the toddler I knew has gone. I miss little children as they are so funny and it’s great to be part of “their world and their language”. Christmas mornings when my son was a toddler were the best days of my life… make the most of every minute with him Vic because one day you’ll turn around and he’ll be gone… 😊
Funny you say the 'toddler' your knew has gone, I thought the same. My 37yo didn't like me telling him he was being fixated and not listening to what his sister and I were saying, so he stormed off and (he uses one of the lounge rooms as his tv/computer room) tried to slam is door but it is just an upright freezer box made into a room divider. I feel the toddler is still well and truly still there. Then again I can only put the blame on ancestry as my dad said he would would never grow up (kept saying it till he passed at 70) and I say it all the time too. I never want to grow up, we all need to be a bit childish every now and then.
I've been following your videos for a while, but this one was a bit special for me as I lived in Macclesfield for over 40 years and recognise a lot of the street views. I also know Ron Smart and am delighted that you got him to print your tea towels. I used to work as a volunteer at the Silk Museum restoring and operating weaving looms and other machinery - you must make a visit there (mention my name but it won't get you anything). I look forward to seeing your cafe boat one day - but now we live in France and it's a long way to go - even for your lemon drizzle cake. Maybe one day.
The videos are such a lovely window into the basic goodness of everyday life. I find it immensely cheering, and I thank you for sharing your lives with us this way.
I think living in the village and doing your baking there then selling from Holly seems to be the best of both worlds for you. William is growing like a weed. Loved the clearness in his voice when he said, "chocolate cake". Thank you for sharing and have a Blessed day.
As long as you're productive, making money, saving money, William's happy, then you're winning. That was a long day it's amazing how much you get done on no sleep. It's slso amazing you still have the energy and inspiration to make new things for Holly, I'm guessing you might do oven gloves and aprons if you can afford it. Keep going, you're crushing it. Colombian coffee is the BEST.
It’s great to see such positivity in everything you both do… in this mad world with so much hurt I always feel better after watching your videos, thank you 😊
You're such lovely people. I love to watch your escapades. Keep the lovely vids coming, I look forward to them on Fridays! Congratulations on your teatowels. They look great! Matt
As a patreon I had already watched this one but I usualy watch the YT version at least the first 30 seconds and give the thumbs up to help the old algorythm along, needles to say I enjoyed it all the way to the end a second time, night night x
Wow😁 lovely idea for the tea towels. It's so heart warming that you use local industries. 😊. We have small business and always thankful 😊 for every customer who come to us rather than rush off to mega corporates 🙁
Hi There Vic jo and William , Hope you are all well , Wow what a Great video , such a busy time you are having ,you must travel around the speed of light , The main thing is you all look Super Happy and you are very entertaining , loved it All , so keep up the Great work and your cakes look super tasty , so Thank you for sharing, Take care All.🌟👍
This is a fabulous video …. “that’s incredible that we are out of coffee”, quote the William 😄 … chips in a sandwich is a must - it’s the crunch! …. great visit to the printer/weaver …. can’t wait to buy the tea towels… Be Well
Nothing makes me want to live in England as much as watching you 3 on RUclips. A gush of positivity, determination and love. I look forward to Sunday afternoons when I can sneak a peek into your youthful busy parenting working lives. Thank you for being so clever at what you both do. ♥️👋🏻
I have been to London and parts of England 8 times. I love the decorative tea towels from the shops around there they remind me of all the fun things we’ve done there. I bring them back home to California with me and hang them on my garage walls. I love your tea towel it is so bright and colorful and I sure enjoyed seeing how they are made. I have 8 different tea towels hanging on my garage wall so I can see them daily when I drive my car inside. My garage walls are finished and painted so they look wonderful on the walls. I hope you are going to sell the tea towels so I can purchase one and hang it on my wall so it will reminds me of one of my favorite Utube channels.❤
Wish veggies were really that quick and easy to chop. Fun edit! You three are just 100% lovely. Thank you for the few minutes of escape from the world as it is.
Chicken flavoured crisps in a sandwich with a smidge of salad scream is the best snack alive so as you can tell I am fully behind the sandwich crisps movement 😄 the tea towels look amazing and the fact you are having them done so local to you makes them so much more special ❤
Your little confession near the end made me realize you are my people. We are cut from the same cloth. Cheers from the frozen wastes of Canada. ~ulrich
I loved having a nosey at the background to your teatowels. The factory is amazing. It's so good to know places like this are still existing. Go Make It British!
I LOVE that the decisions you have made are all working out so well.... when can I order a tea towel?????? or more??? I LOVE the fact that you are perhaps near to where you were born... and in the industrial regions where resurgence of trade and mechanisation is bringing new life to modern lifestyles. HOW amazing to be using " the only silk printer " in UK.... is that a correct fact. Maybe I misheard. William is such a treasure...noticing observing using language and battling to sleep when it is necessary to do so... the mind needs to rest and re set... gets harder as we age.... Save what you can and grow the LOVE you give to Holly and all who eat cakes from her......... I wish I could be visiting!
Actively and Productively Busy. I tire watching you 3…😂 While I am retired, my life is busy Volunteering for 3 Nonprofits. Busy is Good. Your Cookbook arrived in Texas weeks ago. It’s beautiful. Your new Tea Towel also is beautiful.
Another great video full of good things & lovely people. It's a good thing you mentioned you were tired in the sign off Vic ... I was thinking that I'd never seen you drunk before!
"Byeee, night, night, good-bye, sleep tight..." This video was quite chock-full and in continuous motion! Now time for a good rest! Just love you guys and so happy for all of the new and exciting happenings! On my way to sign up for the newsletter!😊
I love the tea-towel. I'd love to buy one,or even two. This summer of 2023 I made several trips up north and passed through Macclesfield on the train and it loked so interesting i wanted to get off and explore the place so if I get a chance next summer I will visit that town and - I hope buy a coffee and cake at your Holly cafe boat depending where you are of course. DONT do any decorating. Your instinct is right. The house is comfy, warm and it makes sense to be there but it's not YOUR PLACE. You're both too young, you haven't got to that place yet. Enjoy the life of adventure while you can. And you probably know that adventure is inward as well as outward. Once you've painted, wallpapered, bought furniture, designed your "look" you're committed! That'll be great for you in maybe 10 years time, but not yet.
❤beautiful catch-up your life looks exhausting for a 73 retired woman. But I remember the days, thought they would never end😅😊 you make the world a happy place for many, what an achievement 👏 ❤
Your channel is, I believe, the most pleasant one of the many which I watch. Part of what makes it so pleasant is Jo, who is definitely the loveliest of the many ladies who I meet on RUclips. The other part is your family tenure or dynamic (I’m not sure how best to express it).
That ironing board and vacuum cleaner could be considered as installation art 😂 Lovely 17 minutes of relaxation watching you guys... And that blueberry loaf 💓😺🤤
Love your enthusiasm and positivity …and the tea towel is great Jo! Impressed with your vegetable chopping skills Vic ( noticed them in a previous video) and William’s vocabulary is incredible! 😃
Recently tried salt and vinegar crisps on a tuna salad sandwich, and later an egg salad sandwich, and can’t believe how much I loved both! Thanks for sharing this.
So cool seeing you all get into your rhythm, you both seem so chill and happy in the new house😊 looove the tea towel and that it was made so close to the canal. Ps, always crisps on a sandwich 🥪
I wasn't sure if I would enjoy watching after you moved ashore but you still have that nice quirky way of filming, I get so frustrated when I watch people chopping every single carrot and potato it was great to see how you did this. I notice that William has more words in every film, credit to you.
That was a a good bit of life in 17 minutes! A Hoover and an ironing board in the scene? 😱 How absolutely real of you! Even with several generations between us, I can still relate to that.
I’ve watched the three of you for quite awhile now. I truly believe that you three are the most family oriented and fun thrilling Vlog I’ve watched in years. Please don’t change a thing. I’m quite sorry cause I would be a daily customer. But I know HOLLY can come to Maddensville PA.. Thank for a fantastic ride..
YES to crisps in sarny, Jo. I worked at Early's of Witney (blanket mill) in the 70s where we had a tea trolley lady, Anna, who sold grated cheese sandwiches and crisps. We had one almost every fay, yummy!! Will be ordering one of those beautiful T-towels, well done all!
I absolutely agree with the sandwich crisp combo 👌....and William saying incredible about the lack of coffee 😂😂 ...love this channel ....proper people ❤
Cream cheese frosting is the best thing ever invented. The tea towels are gorgeous and it's lovely they match the cookbook cover and that could be expanded to other textile items.
Fab vlog, great tea towel, want one as I couldn't get a copy of your book....unless there are any still around!! Get some sleep guys whenever you can!!😊
Wow I love those tea towels, that's some Christmas gifts sorted!! Any idea when they will be available to buy? You both seem rejuvenated and its great to see and William is just adorable! I can empathise with the sleep depravation though! My eldest slept very little and he is still the same aged 21!😴
Williamm speaks so.well. Tea towels look fab, You were great with them teenagers would make a fab youth worker with your nature. A lovely coffee cup. And your new friends Colombian coffee would make a.nice hamper gift for Christmas etc.
