Mr. Chin is the epitome of elegance and good taste. His genteel upbringing would prevent him from showing his feelings for the whole world to see, let alone defend himself against all wrongful accusations. I have come across Mr. Chin's numerous interviews in the last two years, his manners and perspectives on life are poles apart from the entertainers in the East. No one can resist his gentle gaze; in fact, the interviewer seemed quite smitten with him. Wishing you all the best, Mr. Chin - a beautiful man with a heart of gold.
How I love what you said. You seem to understand him very well and appreciate him much. As Mr. Chin's adorer, I hope that I can someday get close to your level.
@@jenniferzhang811 Given enough time, you will. Mr. Chin is like a bottle of Screaming Eagle, once you have a taste of it, you cannot go back to supermarket wines. Pay attention to his movies, he was always well-mannered and polite, such as serving others first at the dinner table or pulling out chairs for the female leads. I do not think those manners were scripted, that is how Mr. chin behaves in real life. Mr. Chin is a gentleman in the truest sense of the word! I will highly recommend "My Native Land," "He Never Gives Up," "My Land, My People, "30-Year-Old Mother," and "A Love Story of a Small -Town Doctor." @@88Leehom Thanks a lot for the guidance! I had a childish crush on him about 40 years ago when I first saw "He Never Gives Up" and have loved that movie ever since. But only recently (less than 2 months ago) did I come across many of his other movies. Couldn't help falling for him once again. Grateful to your recommendations, and delighted that I marathon-watched a lot of his movies and saw all 5 of them. Yeah! I love them all, 3 of which were directed by Mr. Lee Hsing and co-starred with Joan Lin. Falling in love with this screen couple and director Lee now. I love My Land, My People as a movie the most; for Mr. Chin's acting, My Native Land is the best in my eyes. There's a Hong Kong movie (dialogue in Cantonese) called "Promising Miss Bowie" (1990), Mr. Chin's part was not big, but he's so good in it, his acting touched my heart so much. In my youth years, I got the feeling that he's well known for his elegance. Nowadays he's not that famous among the younger generations and his image is somewhat distorted. But now is the time for me to see with my own eyes, not by others' retell . He is rather low-profile though. Other than his acting works, there seem not many interviews or shows. I am also more of a movie fan of his, not so much into his TV series works. I heard his recent years' TV works are wonderful, yet to find out by myself.
@@jenniferzhang811 Under the direction of Mr. Lee, Mr. Chin reaches the pinnacle as an actor. In "My People, My Land," his performance in the interrogation scene is nothing short of mesmerizing; his expressions vary depending on the different levels of tortures, utterly amazing. Of course, the cheongsam attire really brings out Mr. Chin's unique qualities - elegancy, genteel deportment, and bookish charm. Because of his regret for being harsh toward the late second son, he spoils the youngest son by letting the boy hit him in the face, his expression tells it all.
