ORU Kayak LAKE | Night Kayaking | Lady Bird Lake | Austin, TX

We took our Oru LAKE kayaks out on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, TX. Calm water and a beautiful sunset made for the perfect setting for an evening paddle. We even brought along our dog, Beamer. A popular destination, Lady Bird Lake is in the heart of downtown Austin. it's full of activity from paddle boarders and kayaks to large cruise boats.
When the sun goes down the lights come on. We tested out our Our LED light kits. Each kayak has two LED lights each capable of producing a variety of colors and patterns. A great way to stay safe and visible to other boating traffic. Also a great way to show off to everyone else that you have an Oru!

Thanks for watching! We use the Oru brand LED lights. Eash light kit comes with two hockey puck sized LED. We put one in the front and one in the back of each kayak. In our first Oru accessories video, we demonstrated the lights. Check it out to get a better look at them.

Do they always flash or is that just a setting?

The flashing is a setting on the light. You can have it a steady color also.
