Audible became such a huge timesaver for me! I still do prefer reading a book more than an audiobook, but I started to listen to audible in the gym and during commutes which averages about 5-7 hours per week! This easily results in 2-3 more books read per month.
I just bought my membership this month, and audible is a great service, but since my account is so new, I don't even have the option to buy more credits yet, and finishing one audiobook in a month is too easy. The reason I bought a membership was to read more, and I want to expand my library, but receiving one credit a month is a little disappointing for someone who already bought the membership. Imho, you should have the ability to buy more credits as soon as your membership is paid for and activated.

So one book would cost you $14 that's only one book a month. I think they also just give you discounts if you want to buy more books

It’s really nice for doing non-noisy tasks like folding laundry or cooking.
