    ¡qué bárbaro, no hay droga más potente que la música de Bach así entendida, parece un nadador de largas distancias, pero es que aquí hay arte variado y sublime, con el énfasis justo para retroalimentarse se desnuda y declama con todas las células de su cuerpo la gloria de la música. Me lo he oído de un tirón y eso que no tenía tiempo, pero es que no podía interrumpir ni dejar de acompañar a este artista tan sublime. Ahora sé lo que sentían los ratones de Hamelín!

      Playing from memory isn't all that special, practically all solo recitals are performed without sheet music.

    • @mopsydaisy
      @mopsydaisy 26 дней назад +1

      It is not insane but a mere consequence. Image, you read the notes well over a 100 times whilst learning a piece, particularl of such length. Meaning, you can't really help but memorize it. To me, it is baffling if a musician still needs the score when performing.

    Very interesting key choice for this transcription - it really pays off in the fugue.

    isn't this world just far beyond crazy? Petrit plays more notes in 5 seconds as nearly all of top 100 chart "songs" entirely have.
    With eyes closed... feels every note long before he starts to play it.
    And now ask 1000 people on the road if they know Petrit.
    They all just miss to listen to incredible music, fantastic journies...

    Bravo! An awesome performance of one of my favorite Lute Suites. I'd played this some 30 yrs. ago but after watching this I'm now not sure I ever played it
    If not for a minor flub at the end of Gigue it would have been near perfection.
    This was very unusual transcription (with the 6th string tuned down a whole step) from most other artists performances.
    Voicings were changed in quite a few sections which gave a new hearing for me.
    Most enjoyable!

    I've tried my hand at the prelude, which is very difficult for me when it is in A minor. How much more difficult to play it in C minor, with all the hand stretches required...I am in awe. Even David Russell uses a capo when he plays 997 in C minor, and he is a master.

    el haberla tocado en La menor en la etapa de aprendizaje, y transportar todo a otro tono ya lo hace un grande , sin partituras en concierto, además ni mira para tocar, es muy prodigio, sin mencionar su intelectualidad de matices.

      @@mauimendoza2852 I get it as a supplement to a guitar magazine about 55 years ago. It seems to be that arranged by a German guitarist, but there's no name. So I can’t know the original publisher, and the magazine has been also discontinued a long time ago. I don’t know if d-mol score publishes now.

Currently working on the prelude without dropped D using Edmund Wensiecki transcription / Friederich Hofmeister music edition . .not sure if a good choice for me technically but I think the higher key sounds better.
