After a long wait, I finally have a complete OST for this AU!
And I gotta say it's good to have the music department done.

TL:DR I own Dusttrust now. It is getting a revamp. (Last time I promise.) And nothing here is being used anymore.

H'lo. I have come with news.
First off. I own Dusttrust now. Due to lack of motivation and other projects Kasssm saw me as the best fit. You may know me for the Dusttrust models.
Second.
Due to recent events and changes I have decided along with Ari that it would be best if her game is no longer official. I know this is the millionth time this has happened and I know most of you will make some very cynical remarks at this choice.
But for the wellbeing of the people who were/are involved it seemed to be the best way to go.
The new name of her take is Underswap: Thanatos. It seems to be breaking away from the old Pre-leak formula a bit and I think it will be quite an interesting project when it is done.
What does this mean for the official Dusttrust?
Dusttrust will pick up where it left off with "Canon Dusttrust" But with tweaks and changes. Phase 2 is the big change I have planned. Phase 1 will contain tweaks.
I will be very careful with how I portray Sans' character. I will be focusing on a smaller team and having fun with it. Some mild flashiness while still being a viable project to make and produce.
I am very excited to be spearheading this project. When we have more things to show I will show them.
For the people who want to give this a namesake.
Call it "Dusttrust" or "Dilly's Dusttrust." If you need to put some type of "Era" label to it.
One last thing. In the Future there will be a dedicated DT server .
Right now though. We are under construction.
I hope you all like what we have in store for the future.
I apologize for this and will try everything in my power to keep this iteration cohesive and easy to follow.
I am interested! I stuck with dusttrust all the way and I'm open for new versions. Take your time and have fun mate.

This is great, one because it's not trying to be some cringe and over the top thing. AND it fits for a Dustswaptrust because sans in underswap isn't just papyrus in sans' body so I think the changes from normal dustbelief are justified there

This feels like the final official DT soundtrack release, especially that part at 10:43 (the whole new phase 2 approach is solid, shouldn't change!) , really feels like a sendoff to the 2+ years of soundtrack revisions (I've lost track tbh). From watching the Kazedom Legacy OST video; to the rise and downfall of pre-leak, and then the rise once again; to the Dumbass Duo and DustTrust coffee; to all of the soundtrack reposts (which likely won't stop); to the countless time the community has been a pain in the a**; and to the official DustSwap: Dusttrust team for dealing with this hellhole of a community.
I've been around in the DustTrust community for nearly 3 years now... I think. Maybe 3 and a half. It's the sole reason why I've gotten into metal. The amount of times I've listened to DustTrust tracks on repeat makes me wonder if I've ever had a social life.
Other than that, I hope you get a nice and long break Nick, you've earned it!

dear god this soundtrack is nothing short of beautiful
ive been with dusttrust since the start in 2018 and something about phase 2 just makes me cry
its so powerful and the ending just feels like the closing to a long book, all the past betas & concepts, all the past phases, all coming together to finish up a long story
one day i feel like id wanna make a retrospective / video just talking about these 3 songs, considering how much of an impact DT has made on my life, as dumb as it is to say
i love this au and it will forever keep a special place in my heart
I can see a lot of effort is going towards this version of dusttrust I just hope you know this warmed my heart to see that this timeline is still kicking yet and the part where they ascended to the surface was amazing I hope that will be in game in the near future and this really made my night thank you Nik and the Dusttrust team- AUlord the 2nd 7/22/22

Finally an AU's ost that include core letimotiv. I think the leitmotiv is so underrated to not be used frequently in AU's ost. If you use it with instrumentals, it can add some fire in your project, like this one !

I feel like Pritxxus Zone should be recognized for the music of Legacy!DUSTTRUST and having you and BenyiC03 on the team, her music may not be as good but she should still get some recognition.

Holy shit Nick this is awesome, you can really tell the effort you've put into this, both video and music. It's good to see some actual closure to DustTrust with everything its been through, its been a long idk how many years with all its different versions and OSTs and whatever. The music is great as well, the transition between the tracks and the general effort you've put in does show.

This is honestly really great and phase 2 is just too good, I love how the fight is at the surface along with the view that it had the OST as well was just perfect and so fitting for that final battle feel i really do appreciate this

I am really glad to see the approach to phase 2 being just like I was hoping it'd be, sans wearing the hoodie and standing strong against the human. I think the hoodie should be bigger due to Papyrus' size but you guys worked hard enough and I don't think its that big of a deal. I am really curious to see how the attacks will be made and if there will be a papyrus encounter, canon dusttrust for the win
So yeah, me and my homie just watching this like a few times and, you aren't kidding when saying this thing will be improved. I was never a fan of Dusttrust aside from the actual decent takes, this thing slaps.

Vandalize (OG version) = 9 September, and the oldest Upload I could find was from a month before this one.
So considering Nik isn't a time traveler, I'm pretty sure this song doesn't have those vocals.
The reason you hear these lyrics is because Finality takes a lot of inspiration from this song, and the vocals were replaced by Vandalize's vocals.
I will surely miss phase 3 & 4
But this still was so good! I really liked the music and sprites (phase 1 sprite was my fav)
I can imagine phase 2 having mirages of past Dusttrust takes behind Sans near the end to show the memories of Dusttrust through the years and how much it evolved. Also in my opinion, maybe phase 2 could've had small references to past Dusttrust themes in some parts to make it seem less like a slightly changed phase 1 theme. But in the end, this is neat! And it's nice to see Dusttrust end because now we can go towards Dustbelief and hopefully Disbelief and Revenge again

I'm glad I've struck with the dusttrust community for years witnessing all the improvements, changes and the people who compose the music/do the sprites have massive differences from how it used to be
well done nick and everyone else on this the ost is beautiful and steller, and the sprites are just as good an good sendoff to dusttrust imo you should definitely have a nice break after that lol

I’ve always loved the swords, and if they’re gone, I can totally understand that…
But…
If you wanted to re-add the swords, I think that 4:24 and 04:32 on the third drum beat are great places to have the swords appear CHAOS SABER style, so right before the time stamps, sans lifts one of his hands into the air, open palm, the sword comes in Chaos Saber style, and he grabs it.
I’ve always liked the swords because it made the fight feel more equal in a way… you slashing at sans, sans slashing back, he even says it himself…

Been around since legacy dusttrust (I still prefer legacy's design but i still like the pre leak and 2022 dusttrust sans i just prefer legacy dusttrust sans's design like clothing wise lmao). I am glad to see that this au isn't like 7 phases now (although i hate to say this. It feels wrong in a way for the au to only have 2 main phases since we all have gotten used to there being more than 2 phases) because it kinda got old. The soundtrack is beautiful and i can tell love and passion was put into it. I would have done the same if i owned the au lol but still thank you for this beautiful soundtrack
