The one thing about the combine is that friendly fire can kill them that's why some of the soldiers randomly died

Poison Headcrabs are extremely dangerous to NPCs, as they lackGordon's HEV Suit and thus have no access to the antidote for the neurotoxin. As a result, a hit from a Poison Headcrab will permanently reduce an NPC's health to 1, causing them to be instantly killed the next time they receive damage. However,Alyx Vance and Barney Calhounregenerate health, and thus the Poison Headcrab is less of a threat to them, provided they are not under attack by other enemies around the time of the bite. TheCitizens, however, can be healed with Medkits to restore their health

The headcrabs are small but they can be shot down by shotgun blast easily, but most of the shotgunners where shooting their own kind, more like friendly fire, and they don't even care whether they killed they're men.

Also those werewolves were coming from when some of the combine soldiers died

I retested the first battle. It is true the combine shotgun soldiers are killing themselves, but are doing so more easily with the help of the poison headcrabs reducing their health to 1. The poison headcrabs can't kill in Garry's Mod; the illusion that they can in the first battle is because the kill counter was not on when recording.
man this was just like breen sent the combine to take out the infestion but it not succesful on area for headcrab spread very fast
Fun Fact: The second battle takes place inside Courtney Love's hamper.
