I just bought this today from my local store and I was wondering if the two parts of the base were supposed to show some of the grey pieces that go into the slots. I thought it would be a tight fit, but they’re really not.
you can see the top half of the base not fully plugged in. Already heard it was a really tight fit, but wierd they would not press it together correctly for this unboxing. So that will be a concern once I get my pre-order in hand. Apart from that I absolutely love it! Just want a mark 2 2.0 now to complete my line-up
Not sure why that would concern you. The base is plastic. If you have trouble getting your example put together, just hit that upper piece with a heat gun and I guarantee you it will slide right into place exactly as it's supposed to. Then once it cools and stiffens back up it will have a perfect fit.
The Mark 3 had dark maroon paint rather than red. But Hot Toys and other toy companies never get it right. The first Hot Toys Mark 3 released back in 2009 had the correct maroon paint. But still, this one looks much better than the awful 1.0 candy apple Mark 3 released in 2015.
There is a reason why this piece so don't more faster than any of the other Iron Man that they have still going how can you go wrong with this beautiful piece unfortunately for me I did not get it in time and I'm on the waitlist for the regular and special edition but this is something that I definitely want and will be my first Iron Man whenever my waitlist converts
@@ForlornDevil That's not how Hot Toys operates. Technically ALL of their releases are "limited". They manufacture a set number of each figure and that's it. Sometimes they will do a "reissue" release of the same figure a few years after the initial release, but Hot Toys does not just continually produce a figure endlessly to keep them available on store shelves at all times. So as I said before, technically ALL of their figures are "limited releases". Waitlist opportunities are only an opportunity to buy an already-produced figure that was ordered by someone else, and that person either cancelled their order or failed to make the payments for their order, and that figure is then made available to people who put their names on the waitlist.

Absolutely not, mark 7 still wins this. For a 2.0 you’d expect better proportions, articulation and paint apps.
