I'm really enjoying your foundation reviews. I haven't tried this Loreal, but it's great that it works well enough for you to keep and use up.

Love the green/yellow on your eyes! This foundation has the most mixed reviews ever on RUclips I feel like - for me it was a dud but I'm glad you were able to make it work!!

Aw thank you so much girl :) I know it's crazy how mixed the reviews were. I'm sorry this didn't work for you :/

Great review. I have this foundation but I don't ever reach for it because I'm not totally in love with it. I always love seeing your first impression videos. I just got the Sonia Kashuk matte foundation & new revlon blur foundation yesterday so hopefully those work for my super oily skin. xoxo

Yeah I can see how it wouldn't be for everyone. Thank you so much kim! Ooh I would love to know your thoughts on those foundations

I'm glad it worked for you! Unfortnately, it didn't work on my skin. I have combo to oily skin, dehydrated, with texture, blemishes, redness and large pores. Firstly, there isn't a good colour match for my fair with yellow undertones skin. Additionally, on me it oxidised horribly. Secondly, the covergae on me was medium to full, but not total cover as it claimed. Thirdly, I also was quite oily while wearing it. Finaly, it settled on my pores, peach fuzz, dry patches in an awful way and gave me the crocodile skin. I passed it on a friend, as in UK we can't return used products which is a shame... :(

Aw shucks I'm sorry it didn't work for you Gina :/ Yes I wish Loreal foundations were more yellow :/ That's why i haven't tried the pro matte yet. I'm so sorry it oxidized on you :/ Yikes it didn't sound like it worked well for you at all. You can't return in the UK? Wow that super sucks :/

Hi! I have combo/dry skin with texture and redness. I have to say I only used the foundation once and returned it. I felt it settled really bad into my laugh lines and it didn't look good around my cheek area where I have a ton of big pores. It looked great on you though! I'm going to give the pro matte a try. I have been hesitant because I have dry skin but my best friend has dry skin and swears by it.

I have dry skin too. The original Revlon colorstay for dry skin is still the best for me. I make sure to moisturize really well before (cold cream). I am *very* dry, and it works for me. They do a pro glow as well, I think. That might be better.

Marleen G. I have one of the older versions of the Revlon ColorStay but I'm sure it's expired so I will try have to try it out. I believe the version I have is oily/combo 🤔 I know of the Pro Glow and I wanted to try it but I'm afraid it will way too dewy especially in the Florida humidity. When trying the pro Matte I will make sure to moisturize extra 👌🏻Thank you for feedback 😘

I look forward to hearing how it went with the drops or the porcelain mixed in. But like you said such inconsistencies between reviews. I think I'll stick with the Pro-Matte one or my Estée Lauder Doublewear.

Yes I can definitely let you guys know! Yeah if I didn't get this for free I wouldn't have picked it up because people have such drastically different experiences with it

I did a review of this a few months ago and liked it as well. I'm used to the thicker foundations because I like the Rimmel Stay Matte, but I know not everyone likes that feeling. Let us know how it does with the Hard Candy Drops!

Great review. Now is it my imagination, or does the foundation shade kinda adjust to your skintone over the day?? Maybe the shine/glow makes the foundation shade appear lighter? Because I could swear the foundation looks like it matches your neck at the end of the day but earlier it had looked much deeper. And it might just be my laptop screen, but I preferred the way the foundation looked on you after 1 layer than when you added the 2nd layer. It looked so much more natural

Thank you Julie! It is not just your imagination. Even those it's supposed to have no color I feel like the RCMA powder washes me out. Thank you Julie I will have to try rocking it with one layer :)
