Katie Mack, the astrophysicist/cosmologist who's name checked in the song, was in audience and you can see Hozier nod to her at the first mention of her name.
Does anyone else think that this is his best song from his new album?

Yes, I think so. The composition, the hook, the lyrics- it's just awesome. First time I heard this with my wife I was like "well, he's got something there". It's really his voice that makes it convincing and unique. I saw that he wasn't adding this to the setlist initially and was hopeful that he would!
This one and Dinner and Diatribes, Movement, Shrike. Lol I can't decide. Depends on what I'm doing. Movement is a great groove song, my inner stripper starts trying to come out lol. I have no inner stripper. 🤔

This is extra cool because Katie Mack, the cosmologist who INSPIRED THE SONG and is referenced in the chorus, is a professor at NC State, right here in Raleigh.
She commented on this video! Hozier mentioned that she helped inspire the song, and that she was in the audience that night. It was a very cool moment in the show!

Can we just give some love to Alex Ryan grooving to this? You know the music's amazing when the whole band's clearly feeling it.
This is hands down one of my favorite songs from the album. It's just sad that his mike clearly was not loud enough and he kept trying to signal to the sound person to raise the volume. At least he could switch to holding his mic on the choruses without taking it away from the song and his guitar playing. And how cool was it that Katie Mack was in the audience! I need to read her book that inspired him to write the song. This man is truly amazing and can do anything!
