I'm curious how you got the beads to fit through the fringe strips when you made them 2 centimeters apart. when I did this I couldn't get the beads to fit so I had to cut the bottom of each strip to be narrower. did you wash the shirt before you put the beads on the fringe strips or was it really thin fabric maybe? I had much better luck with fringe strips for the sleeves which I cut a 1/2 inch apart
Ah yes it will definitely depend on the fabric, I find 1/2 inch a good width to work with also. Sometimes for beads I will use a twist tie at the end of the strip to help get them on.
This was an awesome tutorial, got great results! Thank you so much! 😊 💕
Love to hear it! Thanks
Adorable
Thanks!

Also the fabric I use is usually quite worn as I use thrifted clothing mostly.
What size beads did you use?
I had to use large wooden beads because they had the biggest holes. They were around 1cm diameter
Why are you using centimeters instead of inches? Are you from outside the US? Just curious.
Yup😊 Canada! I do sometimes use inches if it works better for the tutorial though.
