Lots of Questions about the two different color shirts. One Blue, one Black. So sorry about that.
When I recorded the black one it had technical difficulties so I had to do it again with a blue shirt.
But I promise Its the same just a different color shirt.

I went to the Goodwill to find T-shirts specifically for cutting up. Even though I didn't know how to do it, I knew I would find something on RUclips! I searched and came across this video. It was perfect for the T-shirt I wanted to cut. I followed your easy instructions and I LOVE how my t-shirt turned out!!! I'll be posting it at some point on my RUclips and Instagram and of course give you credit!!
Note: watch this all the way through first. She made some adjustments at the end that can be done in the beginning. Very simple to do. Loved how my shirt came out.
Cute t-shirt. I have seen similar DIYs on RUclips & Pinterest but this tutorial good; simple & easy.
Also, I like that you used a light coloured t-shirt in the tutorial, which is easier to see & the black for the reveal, which looks slicker! Clever DIY.

I feel you did a wonderful job at showing us how to make that shirt. It didn't have to be the actual black shirt worn. Just as long as we had the idea. Thank you for saving TShirts I was about to throw away...lol. I think the concept of how to do it was simple and easy to understand in four minutes..

É a mesma camisa com uma cor diferente. Quando eu fiz o preto, o vídeo não estava gravando e eu só tinha uma camisa azul. O que você não entende é que às vezes são necessárias muitas gravações para concluir um vídeo devido a problemas técnicos. Eu realmente sinto muito que você tenha achado isso confuso. It washes well. I would wash in cold water on gentle cycle hang dry.

Does it have to be a cotton shirt
No, it does not need to be a cotton shirt. I think a poly/cotton blend would work. I have never tried to create this on silk,or rayon so I am not completely sure how it would do.

MushyMichelle hi Michelle. The one I recorded with the black color shirt didn't record properly so I did another one with a different color. My Friend wanted a blue one so I made the blue one and recorded that.
If you check out her blog, you'd see her do the black shirt the same way as this one. At least she gave us a concept of how we could make any t-shirt look that way. I think she did an awesome job. God bless.

Why do U cut the triangles just to tie them back up??
Because that is the design.Men's the tee shirts are normally too big so it makes the shirt fit better.
Design is tie sleeve , so if u don't cut it how would u b able to get tht look!
