I have used a few T-180 tapes, which were 9 hours in SLP/EP mode. I don't trust those T-200 (10 hour) VHS tapes, since the film is incredibly thin on them. There's even a T-210 and T-240, that rarely appear on eBay. The DF-480 (D-VHS tape) is technically a T-240 on normal VCRs. I do want to try one for fun, but I know it will get jammed easily. Lol
what is the limit of a vcr? How many hours can be rec? And any model if u know. I want to connect it with my cam.
Depends on the length of the tape and the record speed. Typical "120" tapes were 2, 4, or 6 hours for SP, LP, and SLP respectively.
I think a VCR can record up to 10 hours? I don't know, I never tried recording past ten hours. Trying to do that might make it freeze at 9:59:59.
