NATO,US are already in UKRAINE.
There are some pilots but the real problem is they can't learn to fly these fighters. From what I hear their instructors are losing hope they'll be able to fly them well enough by the end of the year. They can take off and land but complex operations are beyond them. They will essentially be sitting ducks at their current pace. I am not sure what the problem is. Could be the total lack of familiarity with Western weapons systems.
