  • In this video, I share my thoughts on each subwoofer and compared them for overall sound, loudness, and value. I didn’t record the sound test but I did go back and forth with each sub for about an hour. I thought sharing my thoughts might be more valuable then a sound demo recorded through a phone. I hope this can help
    someone make a decision on what’s right for them.

    Hi, unfortunately these lightweight subwoofers are very expensive for not very high performance.
    I have an LD Stinger 18AG3 sub, it definitely kills the Bose sub 2 for less money, it sounds twice as loud when listening and much deeper, but it's a heavy subwoofer, weight is the price to pay for a good bass.

    Thanks for the review. Can you please tell me can that ecoflow river handle one 18 sub and two 15 tops atabout 60 percent of volume?

      I don’t this version will handle 3 speakers. This one is a 768WH battery. I think you’ll want the 1000 watt hour or 2,000+ WH one if your planning on running for more than a few hours.

    How many hours you get on the power station?

    • @crisc.4175
      @crisc.4175  Месяц назад

      @@johnnymata523 this Power station is a mid-capacity one. It’s 800W I believe and 768 watt hours. It could probably run one sub for like 3 hours at full volume. If you’re looking to power a whole system you’d want the 2400w power stations with over 2000 WH.

    So you tell us that baterry can run 3 hours working with this subs?

    • @crisc.4175

      @@miroslav8817 maybe 1 sub for 3 hours. This isn’t a very big power station. It’s only 768 wh (watt hours). At full blast a sub can use about 300 watts of AC power so it would only last 2 1/2 hours at that point. 2000+ WH power stations would be better.

      @@crisc.4175 Yes. I m waithing for delta 2 max to show up on market :) You must also look how many ampers can station provide. Some 18 Subs can draw 10 to 15 ampers when they on the peak. This solar generators can provide about 15 amps, but the fuel generator from ecoflow can provide 32 ampers. Or maybe it is better to use two separates station for each of subs if you use more than one sub...

      @@crisc.4175it means that the internal amp provides less than 300 watts RMS. Not that bullshit they write on paper

    • @crisc.4175
      @crisc.4175  3 дня назад

      Not really, just because an amp is rated at 500w for example it doesn’t need to pull 500w from the outlet at all times. This isn’t a class A amp from the 70s. It just means Class D amps are much more efficient.

    Which one has better sound quality?

    • @crisc.4175
      @crisc.4175  2 месяца назад +1

      I think overall, the ELX200-18sp has the tightest sound. It’s a really nice sound but doesn’t rumble as much as the Sub2 (or the EKX) in the low bass. If I could have the punch of the ELX-200 and the low frequency extension of the Sub2, I think you would have the perfect sub. I can say from personal experience that the BB15 from BassBoss ($3000) and the ETX18sp ($2000 + 114lbs) are both subs that do that. The EKX18sp is not as focused (bass is kind of loose), and I don’t like how it distorts when dropping down to 40hz or so and in limiting. It is still a good sub and fairly easy to move around. It’s tough to say which has better sound quality, but I would lean toward the ELX200-18sp for overall tonality that I like. It’s the least expensive too.
