Can you imagine being Derek Carr and knowing that fact? Brutal. Mahomes looks himself in the mirror every morning and says to himself, "Daniel Jones gets paid only $5 million less than me per season. WTF?"
@@KippinCollars Mahomes isnt in it for the money tho, he wants to win it. If your danny or Carr you might as well take a big bag as you aint winnin shit
It was a bad day I agree. First game back from the ACL and neck injuries didn't help either. We almost set a World Record in sacks last year. He's jumpy because It's force of habit. Running for his life is all he's known.. He'll settle down. Comeback player of the DECADE.
That screen at 3:16 is one of the single dumbest most obvious play calls of all time. Everyone in the stands, on the field, and watching at home knew where the ball was going. Dumbest thing I’ve ever seen on a football field. If I was jones, I would have audibled out of that one. For sure.
yeah, the OC needs to do a better job hiding plays it was so obvious the defense learned where a few plays were headed before he even threw the ball. Overall Jones is actually the only QB I've seen increase in accuracy over the years so far. Even his QBR has gone up every year, I believe because of that. The guy isn't bad it's just bad play calling at this point.
@@kevinerbs2778 dude, for real!! The play calling is so “cute”. Like always trying to do stupid plays where there is literally only one designed place to go with the ball. You take that away and all the other receivers were just decoy routes. Smfh. Can you just run actual plays with multiple reads?… And also - what’s with our spacing of our receivers, and our sets? Watch every giants play over the last 3 years. The ball gets hiked and everyone is covered from the start. lol like. 🤦🏻♂️ There is more wrong with this team than Daniel fuckin jones. And no one single quarterback could fix it.
To me just watching it live and even just watching the film break down it feels like he’s playing like hes worried his Oline is terrible like last year and he is processing to quickly and just uncomfortable. All the ptsd is getting to Jones and I hope the Oline can continue to play decent so he can settle down and trust his time in the pocket and play like I know he can play.
didn't he have a neck injury, that took him out for the season? Kind of hard not be a little nervous about that since you get paralyzed from a neck injury.
If you are fair, you are doing your job. (You are fair.) I was surprised Brian Daboll did not try many long pass plays against the Vikings. Didn't the Giants draft Nabers and Hyatt for long pass plays? Also, I don't see Jones being worse than Tua, who had a bad game against the Bills.
Daniel jones has thrown the same pick sick or nearly same interception so many times in his career you think he would’ve learned by now on that screen pass.
Funny, that’s right where I paused it. First thought, you have four guys standing right on top of each other, second thought was the position of the fourth guy, last thought was if I was a defender, this play is so obvious.
Most of the time guys are right in his face, can’t blame him if he hurries throws when there aren’t. Also, the bad play calling of bad plays ain’t helping. people are complaining about Daniel while losing to Sam Darnold. Coaching needs to be much better.
I will give him a slight pass because he’s coming off an ACL, but he needs to be better on a week by week basis or else he may be benched. I hope we don’t bench him and he can at least finish the season, as once you bench him you can’t go back. I also hope Daboll keeps his job as we’ve seen what he’s capable of with decent QB play.
@@collusion-d4n I'll bet you did. Lots of people did and you seem like the impatient type. And the Giants didn't win the Super Bowl until Eli's 4th season.
The Giants are a racist organization. They kept a white, mediocre QB over a black, ALL PRO rb. This was one of the worst performances by a Giants QB. But hey, at least they didn't lose 40-0.
It is like he takes his first read and prays. Teams take away his run option and he just resorts to just his first read.
Just watch his first 4 plays. Only play 3 his head turns to scan the field.
Phil Simms said exactly the opposite. Simms says Jones is processing too fast and would be better off giving his primary receiver a longer look.
Daniel Jones really makes more than Derek Carr 😂😂😂

Jones is afraid of getting hit. Those milliseconds made a difference.
He took plenty of hits, just getting his feet wet he’s fine

tl;dr Yes
That pick 6 was laughably bad
It was good anticipation by the defensive player. There was nothing laughably bad about it.

Be easier to find out what didn't go wrong tbb . That Flo defense had Lil bro seeing ghosts
I said the same thing for the screen play
Bad play call but DJ could have possibly noticed but it was more of a play caller problem
