@@TheRoflcopter2012bro thought he was smarter than the pilots😂 ofc they attempted a go around. They even said "TO/GA!" (Take off/go around) so they attempted a go around. Also they experienced severe windshear due to the microburst. The plane pretty much had no pitch control at all. It slammed onto a highway and hitting a car with its engine, then crashed at a water tank (i think)
This animation just shows the plane getting split in half by the water tank, that is not entirely true. The whole front section disintegrated upon impact, leaving only the rear section. Thats why there were so many casualties. Rest in peace to all who died.

Well the fuel tank exploded upon hitting the tank, obliterating most of the aircraft but the tail.
Not just that, but just before the plane crashed, it's left engine smashed into a car, killing the driver instantly.

Delta Air Lines Flight 191 was a regularly scheduled Delta Air Lines domestic service from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Los Angeles with an intermediate stop at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). On August 2, 1985, the Lockheed L-1011 TriStar operating Flight 191 encountered a microburst while on approach to land at DFW. The aircraft impacted ground over one mile (1.6 km) short of the runway, struck a car near the airport, collided with two water tanks, and disintegrated. 137 people died and 25 others were injured in the crash.[a] The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) determined that the crash resulted from the flight crew's decision to fly through a thunderstorm, the lack of procedures or training to avoid or escape microbursts, and the lack of hazard information on wind shear. Forecasts of microbursts improved in the following years, with USAir Flight 1016 being the only subsequent microburst-induced crash of a commercial, fixed-wing aircraft in the United States as of 2024.[7]

How Microburst Can cause such a Big disaster
It can make a plane is falling so fast and plus,the pilots were never trained to prevent a microburst.
hopefully people on the tail survived

Flight simulator 2020 should get these graphics, they are awesome and if this Is incorporated into flight simulator 2020, It would be incredibly realistic.

Its normally hard to realise when theres a Microburst and the L-1011 has long but retired from flying and Delta well people have their doubts in them

But Delta did as best as they could but because of the microburst they undershot the runway
