Good to hear that you liked the second one more than first. You see the director has made only one other film apart from KGF 1 and 2. So that's only three movies and he has shown a lot of talent to be able to make such a huge movie. He is evolving as a director/writer and you can see his growth although all three movies are kinda similar in story and if he can experiment with different concepts in future and give better at it, there is no doubt he will one of the best filmmaker. I'm hopeful for his future movies and hope he can deliver more than our expectations 🙏🙏🙏

I don't think that K.G.F series is connected with Salaar in regard with the character Farmaan because there are some anomalies that I am finding in this theory.
    1. Rocky was born in 1951, and in 1978 when he takes control of K.G.F., his age is 27 and in 1981 he becomes 30. Now, looking at Farmaan's character, he looks like a person who's age is between 19 to 20 which means he was born way before Rocky's arrival in K.G.F. probably during Garuda's reign. So if Farmaan is Salaar, then childhood story of his will have to be shown as to how he was born and brought up during Garuda's reign and what changes happened to him when Rocky took control of K.G.F., but these incident have to be explored in his perspective. If this happens then the first half of Salaar will become K.G.F only and the individual identity of Salaar will be lost.
    2. While K.G.F was shot in K.G.F location only that is gold fields.
Salaar is being shot at Godavarikhani in telangana which is a coal mine. So the transition from gold mine to coal mine is not clear.
    3. K.G.F series is a kannada origin movie while Salaar is telugu origin movie.
So these are the key points which shows us that K.G.F series and Salaar are two independent stories.
I do believe that K.G.F Cinematic Universe is possible but it is not necessary that it will kickstart with Farmaan.
In K.G.F : Chapter 2 interval scene it showed, finally Inayat Khaleel agreed to business with Rocky. After this scene it showed Rocky's progressed empire and did not show the progression of his empire. The progressive period to his empire was from (1978 - 1981) which wasn't there in the movie. If you carefully see the Parliament Attack scene, before Rocky's Arrival Everything was set up for him, the police men were kept on gun point by the gang members of Rocky. If you see their attire they are different from the Rocky's unsual army. So it is clear that those particular army was provided to Rocky by someone. In my view it is Inayat Khaleel who provided Rocky with those army as a gift that Rocky is doing business with Inayat Khaleel in the international level. So all of this happens in that particular period. In the post credit scene, it clearly mentions 'Extradition' that means there is something that is happening because Ramika Sen receives the file containing Rock's international crimes 3 months back, so she did knew that Rocky is planning something. This expression in her can be noticed when she orders the naval officer to fire missiles on Rocky, also in the Prime Minister Rocky Meeting scene Rocky tells Ramika to arrest him and in order to do that Rocky brought crucial evidence against himself so he want to erase his existence in government records so that nobody can arrest him. There are 2 famous scenes from chapter 1 "Monster scene" & "Rocky Since 1951 scene" which should probably connect in chapter 3. So In Chapter 3 Role of Inayat Khaleel, C.I.A. and other governments including India(Ramika Sen), America and Indonesia majorly is going to be massive if it goes in this way.
In the C.E.O. Of India scene, the American C.E.O. Jimmy Earl Carter was actually the 39 th President of America. So his rise from a C.E.O of a company to president of America is yet to be shown and probably he orders C.I.A. to probe against Rocky.
Considering All the factors there is a probable Chapter 4. This is going to be the probable story of chapter 3.
In the beginning of chapter 2, it clearly mentions that he wanted to rule over K.G.F. that's why he helped the people inside the mine and beheaded garuda in front of everyone in chapter 1 to win the heart of the people inside the mine because by doing that people will have faith in him and will always stand by his side. Whatever he did in chapter 1 was for his selfish needs which was made clear in chapter 1 itself.
Why Rocky killed Shetty in chapter 2?
In the scene where Rocky killed Shetty he gives the reason that Shetty insulted Reena which Rocky didn't like that's why he killed Shetty.
But I would say that this reason is not the main reason why Rocky killed Shetty this reason is just one of them out of a couple of reasons and it just acts like a trigger to kill Shetty.
The Actual reasons are that just like Kamal, Shetty also underestimated Rocky when he was in bombay. Shetty was always jealous of Rocky's popularity among the people of Bombay. Even he wanted to remove Rocky from lime light. In the bottle scene in chapter 1 when child Rocky was brought in front of Shetty for the first time, Shetty saw Rocky's might and he was impressed and decided to keep Rocky with him Shetty and saw it as an opportunity to use Rocky as a tool for his own growth and from that time onwards Rocky starts working for Shetty, so from this we can derive that even Shetty was being opportunistic just like Kamal. The real Problem started when Rocky grew up where he finds it foolish to work for Shetty and instead finds it relevant to establish his own name. It is from that time he shows attitude towards Shetty showing him that he won't come under control of anyone which obviously Shetty did not like. In the "Rocky gets next mission scene" in Chapter 1 when Rocky was met by Andrews where he assigns Rocky to kill Garuda, Shetty was shocked to see Rocky's popularity and demand in between the big people like Andrews and it was for the first time when Shetty realised that he was nothing in front of Rocky it was from that time when Shetty wanted to get rid of Rocky completely and it was for the first time Shetty considered Rocky a serious threat to him. When Rocky was sent to K.G.F. to Kill Garuda Kamal was feeling happy in banglore and Shetty was feeling happy in Bombay. They both thought that Rocky is not going to come back again but in Chapter 2 he does.
In Chapter 2 when finally Rocky acquired K.G.F., Shetty can't go against him directly but Shetty was hating Rocky with the same intensity as he was in chapter 1 so he did it indirectly by killing Rocky's men by inviting them in a feast where Shetty has mixed poison with the food and they died.
when all these reasons came together, Rocky was going to kill Shetty.
Why Rocky killed Kamal at the beginning of chapter 2?
The answer to this is very simple, in chapter 1 interval scene when they finally planned to send Rocky to K.G.F. to kill Garuda, kamal was showing special interest in sending Rocky to K.G.F. so that means he underestimated Rocky and found it as an opportunity to eliminate Rocky from the lime light thereby being opportunistic. Rocky knew his opportunistic nature and wanted to eliminate him as soon as possible as he knew that if kamal gets a space he will become an obstruction to Rocky in fulfilling his aim but at that point of time his main aim was to acquire K.G.F. to fulfill his aim and to make his action and point relevant. That's why he left him alive in chapter 1.
In chapter 2 when he had finally acquired K.G.F., he has become the relevant figure and he also holds the authority at that time he thinks that to be the right time to eliminate Kamal.
    So he did.
Now regarding the love angle of this movie, Reena falls in love with Rocky when she gets to know that, all that he is doing is to fulfill the promise that he gave to his mother which makes her feel that though he is rough outside, he is good at heart inside and understands the pain and value of a mother well.
Rocky was always cruel, greedy from his childhood till the end. After taking control of K.G.F. the intensity of his greediness and cruelty grew further more. It wasn't a switch over from being a good guy to a bad guy that happened for Rocky in chapter 2, rather it was the increase in intensity in his existing character trait.
Rocky was the don of mumbai(bombay) in chapter 1 and at the end of chapter 1 Rocky captures a bigger empire that is K.G.F. so it is quite natural that now when he had acquired the empire, he should defend because there are too many people who are wanting to acquire it so to defend his empire and his throne he should do certain adjustment in his existing character trait, by adjustment I mean increasing or decreasing the intensity of certain parameters of his existing character trait.
"For 15000 years there have been bloodshed battles between people" but the world will only remember two types of people, one that destroys fear and other that creates fear. He does both" this was the dialogue of K.G.F. Chapter 1 teaser. This is the actual description of Rocky's character.
Point No.1 that is "He destroys fear" which is valid in chapter 1.
Point No.2 that is "He creates fear"
which is valid in chapter 2.
So from this description, we can clearly derive that he is a villain and not a hero.
Rocky's character is being glorified from the perspective of the people in the mines because for them he is a messiah who helped and freed them from Garuda.
But in actual sense he is doing it to win the heart of the people inside the mine because by doing that people will have faith in him and will always stand by his side and by doing that he can rule K.G.F.. This was entirely his selfish need and in doing that he went against the government, there he becomes the villain.
So this whole franchise is based on perspective.

In chapter 1 Rocky's mother gave the destination he should reach but she couldn't guide him to the destination as before she could, she passed way.
Now could please tell me if Rocky's mother didn't die and was alive will she be guiding him to the destination through the same way as Rocky went through? The answer is a clear "NO".
She would guide him through the right path and thereby will make him reach the destination.
That means after his mother's death there is no one who cares for him and will warn him when he goes wrong.
Chapter 1 and chapter 2 are well connected. In chapter 1 he had to conquer K.G.F. so it was detailed as to how was he born?, what was his motivation?, how he grew up?, situation that he went through?, his feelings?, his target?,the enemies that he has to fight against?, his struggle and approach to that target, but in chapter 2, after his conquest of K.G.F, he has to defend his kingdom knowing that there are many people who want to rule that kingdom so there will be a lot of wars frequently and the movie ends with the fulfillment of his motivation that means the promise and you also don't have to repeat the above points because it was already explained in chapter 1 so better be a continuation than establishing the same points again and again.
It did exactly the same thing.
After all it is a gangster universe so violence is unavoidable.
    K.G.F. : Chapter 1
    K.G.F. : Chapter 2
    Salaar The Saga
    Radiation
    Bagheera
K.G.F. Chapter 3 and so on.
All these are included in this universe.
After all this is the presentation style of Prashant Neel and the same style is gonna be used in presenting Salaar The Saga, Ntr 31, K.G.F. Chapter 3 and so on, so accept the reality otherwise you are not gonna enjoy these movies.
K.G.F chapter 1 was the build up of Rocky's plan that is why it was so detailed but chapter 2 and upcoming chapter 3 is the direct execution of that plan.
Just like I said this franchise is about perspective that means it depends on through which perspective you see the character Rocky, as a villian or as a hero, probably you considered Rocky as a hero from chapter 1 that's why you find his character in contrary to your concept in chapter 2 but in reality from chapter 1 itself he was a villain which probably you could not understand. The bottle smash scene of child Rocky in chapter 1, police station scene in chapter 1, monster scene in chapter 1, etc portray this villainous character of Rocky so in chapter 1 itself the foundation of Rocky character was laid cleanly by the director which many of them could not understand. In the opening scene of chapter 1, it showed Prime Minister Ramika Sen issuing a death warrant against Rocky, seeing this scene the audience thought that it would be like the conventional story where a hero with so many good qualities one day faces false allegations and termed as biggest criminal of India and then the story proceeds as how they save him but the story was quite unconventional to this thought. The story kept Rocky's character as a villain from chapter 1 itself. The emotional scenes in chapter 1 were included for the audience to get connected with the character Rocky. If the emotional scenes were excluded from chapter 1 then who would want to connect with a villain? The emotional scenes in chapter 1 were a kind of marketing strategy for the upcoming chapters.
Let's understand the story of K.G.F. as conquest.
Suppose a conqueror conquered an empire, so during the conquest the conqueror has to be very logical and analytical and he needs to have a clear understanding about his motives in order to conquer the empire strategically but after the conquest that empire becomes his arena thereafter it is his show and go.
Same happens in K.G.F., in chapter 1 Rocky was an outsider to K.G.F., it's atmosphere, it's environment, it's rules, it's people that is why K.G.F. : Chapter 1 was more analytical and logical because in that kind of situation Rocky definitely requires more information about K.G.F. and the support of the people inside the mines, which he gathers in order to plan the entire plot more strategically which happens at last of chapter 1. After he conquers K.G.F it is his arena and now it becomes his show and his go.
Let's bring in another untouched aspect, in both chapters there is a clear mention of El Dorado. Do you know the meaning of El Dorado in spanish?
Well El Dorado means "Golden King" in Spanish and it is not a name of the city and that is why nobody till date couldn't find a single piece of evidence regarding El Dorado City. The actual name of that city is still unknown. El Dorado was a kind of title which was given to the Latin American tribal chief Zipa just like the title Samrat was given to the Indian King Ashoka The Great. Every discoverer went to discover that golden prosperous kingdom in Latin America with a thought that El Dorado was the name of that city but it isn't.
So if we think in that way then the book El Dorado written by Anant Inglagi was completely about Rocky and not about K.G.F. because it translates to "Golden King", here Rocky is the El Dorado the Golden King of the golden empire called K.G.F.. So in that way Rocky has to be the prime focus in this K.G.F. journey.
I find it very absurd that you are comparing R.R.R. to K.G.F. just because both came from same country you can't compare both of them because logically the two movies are literally two worlds where R.R.R. belongs to a genre called historical fantasy drama(fiction) and on the other side K.G.F. belongs to a genre called dark action drama(fiction). Both of them rules in their own genre.

The reasons why foreigners could not connect to this movie is as follows.
K.G.F. is a franchise( now a cinematic universe) that is why many non - RUclipsr foreign audience were not well with the first part because of low amount of screening of chapter 1 globally during it's release that was on 21st December 2018. It was a pure continuation of the first installment unlike the conventional indian franchises. So you need to know all of that happened in chapter 1 to be able to understand chapter 2 which the foreign audience were unaware of. K.G.F. is also a long term puzzle movie it means questions will be asked and some of them will be solved in this installment and the rest would be solved in the next installment but foreign audience were not habituated like that in a foreign movie's screenplay questions will be asked and all of them will be answered in that particular movie now whether it is a standalone movie or a franchise or a cinematic universe doesn't matter but K.G.F.'s screenplay is quite contrary to theirs. K.G.Fs theme was universal "Underdog Story" but it's plot setting is quite indian which the foreigner audience did not understand. Foreign audience are still alien to indian style of film making and K.G.F. : chapter 2 being the second installment to it's predecessor they did not know what to expect and they went too wrong in their expectations which eventually backfired at themselves. They were expecting this movie to be directed, edited and executed in Hollywoodish way which did not happened at all. Now I am not saying that K.G.F. : Chapter 2 was not hollywood level, it was in some aspect but throughout and at the core it stayed Indian which the foreign audience couldn't connect. Another aspect is time, foreign audience are hardly familiar to a movie exceeding 2 hours duration, there are only a handful of movies in Hollywood which exceeds this duration mark. K.G.F. is digitally launched in Amazon Prime which in comparison with Netflix has less outreach in Western Countries.
K.G.F. teaches you some life lessons.
It teaches you how seriously you can take the promises that you made to your parents regarding anything it may be studies or it can be anything.
It teaches to become top notch in which ever thing you are invested in.
    It teaches to respect ladies.
It makes you realize the toughness and harshness of the real world.
It teaches you to be a leader and not to be the boss.
It teaches you the value of togetherness and teaches not to become lonely.
It teaches to take risk and to be a risk taker and step out of your comfort zone.
It teaches to be atleast two steps ahead in a competition.
It also motivates and says you can achieve the unachievable if you have determination and the right mindset irrespective of your background.
It teaches you to be always target oriented and not to be aimless.
It teaches you not to underestimate your abilities.
It teaches you to take your parents words seriously.
If you get life lessons from a movie then that is more iconic than remembering and cherishing the scenes from that movie and that doesn't mean that K.G.F. Chapter 2 don't have iconic scenes in it, it does have.

Rocky's character is neither a hero nor a villain but something in between that is an anti - hero and is the representation of real time you, me and everyone as we all in real world are liked by someone at the same time we all are disliked by someone, also in real world we are neither a real saint(who does always good and never commits a single sin) nor real evil as we some times does good things at the same time we also does something which evil for our own selfishness and in that way we can never be called a perfect saint or perfect evil and in this way in real life even we also play a role of an anti - hero just like Rocky. In here Rocky loves his mother, respects her teachings and in that way he respects women, if we see Rocky in that perspective we feel that he is a hero but when his mother told him the final destination to reach he became selfish to reach at that destination by hook or by crook and that's what the bottle smash scene in chapter 1 signifies that he wanted to reach the destination that his mother told and fulfill the promise. He took the promise so seriously that he can even smash the cop's head with a glass bottle to fulfill it and in here the movie portrays the selfish and villainous character of Rocky. Inside K.G.F. in chapter 1 Rocky helps the old man and people inside the mine in general and ate with them, if we see Rocky in this perspective he is a hero as he is bringing the feeling of togetherness, but ultimately Rocky did all of this is to win the heart of the people so that people will stand by his side no matter what happens which we see in chapter 2 and to gather more and more information about K.G.F. as he was new to it's atmosphere, it's environment, it's rule and it's people in chapter 1 so to kill Garuda which he did and again he did all of these in purpose to fulfill his promise to his mom. In chapter 2 when K.G.F. becomes Rocky's Kingdom Rocky has to defend his Kingdom, We see Rocky eliminating everyone one by one like this K.G.F. : Chapter 2 becomes like a game of chess where you eliminate your opponent one by one and secure position, Rocky Does the same thing but here again it signifies Rocky's selfish and villainous character as now he becomes selfish as he gets more access to fulfill his promise to his mom and in doing that goes against the government there he becomes a villain as he in chapter 2 says he is ready to become a murder, coward, villain and criminal to fulfill his promise to his mom that means he was that much serious about the promise. One thing in every movie every character has a motivation to his/her action, this was Rocky's motivation. To contrary the people of mine consider him as a Messiah as it is him who rescued them from Garuda in chapter 1, though he did for his own selfish needs but he did. This shows his heroic gesture towards the people of the mines. Again after he gets a serious warning from Prime Minister Ramika Sen in chapter 2 he becomes more and more selfish as he knew that now when the government is getting involved deeply, he won't be getting much time to fulfill his promise to his mom again here we see Rocky villainous character. At the end of chapter 2 it shows that Rocky built an entire town for the people of K.G.F. as he at some point in his mind got deeply connected with the people of K.G.F. during his life in K.G.F., here we again see Rocky's Heroic gesture towards the people of K.G.F.. Finally Adheera is someone who Rocky would have become if he lacked the mother sentiments and that's the basic difference why we feel Rocky as a hero and Adheera as a pure villain in chapter 2. If the mother sentiments would have been eliminated from Rocky, both Rocky and Adheera would be on the same scale.
It was clearly a game of perspectives.
