I loved Delroy Lindo in Spike Lee's Crooklyn. His depth as a strong but vulnerable and tender man was amazing. I knew then that he was a consummate actor.

More attention needs to be focused on the challenges that formerly incarcerated men and women face when they re-enter society. I watched all of Season 1 (I think) and the plot illustrates some of those challenges. We've got a ton of shows about catching the bad guys, but very few about what happens after they've done their time. It's a festering problem. This is a good show. Watch it.

Crooklyn, Lackawanna Blues, Malcolm X - all great movies made better because of Delroy Lindo. I’ve always thought his performances were impeccable and he’s very handsome. Also, Kerri Washington… she’s so beautiful and talented. I’m just glad they’re both together in a movie. I can’t wait to watch.❤
