I bought two bars of the Harry's soap yesterday at Walmart 11/21/2019. It's hard for me to use certain things on my skin because I have very sensitive skin as a black man. MANNNN this stuff smells unbelievable good. I fell in love with myself while in the shower Lol. If I had a girlfriend I would have totally been up all night 😅. Not only does it smells good but it left my skin feeling clean, like regular body wash didn't make my skin feel. The sent lasted all night and a little this morning. I got the blue and red bars, for 4 dollars you can't go wrong.
I bet that all those ingredients together make for an interesting scent! if you're interested in fancy soaps the l'occitane range is supposed to be great, i've not tried them yet but i will.
@@averageguytested Like you, I've tried both Harry's and the DSC and they are both solid companies with some great product offerings. It's funny to think, though... Gillette has been with us for over 100 years. Their razors are the best in the cartridge segment of the industry but their skin care stuff was always lacking. Along come Harry and DSC, and for the last few years their skin care products are far superior than anything a man can buy at the drug store. P.S. I'm a huge fan of Target as well. So much so that I question my Harry's subscription. Lol
@@averageguytested have you seen that Supply single blade razor? It uses injector blades. It's basically sleek modern and more durable version of the classic Schick injector blade type razor. This thing is a beast. Beautifully designed, stainless steel. They are about $75-$99. The purists hate them. Lol. Pretty sleek looking razor though.
Harry's has only come to the UK this year, haven't pulled the trigger on the trial set. Its only available online so I will be watching for it and would like to try their bar soap and gel.

theMediaMart 😂😂 he’s the type of person who lets his beard grow out, so then he try’s to trim the hair off before he shaves...however he says the hair just cloggs up. I went with your advice and got the Gillette skin guard razor he hasn’t tried it yet but if he doesn’t like it I might go with a schick Razor 😂 we’ll see though
i like Harry's bar soap very much....it has a good lather and an aroma that lightly hangs around you for several hours....i'm just not keen on paying 4 bucks a bar for it.
Just a personal opinion but the Harry's Razor blades tend to have this annoying sensation when I shaved and the heads break easily even with gentle strokes
Thanks for the video. However, I won"t leave applying a shaving gel in favor of using a soap for creating the lather. I believe that soap just doesn"t do the job to create enough sustainable lather and belongs to the distant past. So I don"t get it why you used a soap this time to do the shaving. One thing I like to know is how do you compare Harry's to Gillette Fusion despite the fact that you seem to be a Harry's fan?
I bought that same version at my local Tarzhay several weeks ago. Excellent scent ( poor man’s Creed Aventus ), great performance as a bath soap - I tried to DE shave with it but the lather quickly dissipated .... P.S - Screw the latherbaters, do what works for you!

The razors have been greatly improved and can be bought here in the states at Target for $9.99. I’d recommend them and the soap.
They also make a foaming shave gel that is very good!

Thanks for watching! Gillette Fusion is hard to beat. The Harry’s blades take a bit more technique and offer less protection. I agree about the soap.
