Nice watch- thank goodness they have changed the logo - hated the previous branding! I much prefere the twin flag design and may now actually consider buying one
To anyone who isn't sure - I received an email from CW a couple days ago that my watch has been delayed by a few weeks because they had a batch of hands they weren't satisfied with the finish. It means they have already recognised this issue and (all things going to plan) have addressed it. We will see under loupe when it arrives as I'm a little bit anal when it comes to the little details, but I'm crossing my fingers
@@genshin16 I'm in the UK, so just paid while at their showroom, and got it shipped to me when it was released. You should be able to challenge any fees if it's already been paid on both sides.
@@genshin16 I did, and was not pleased. When I purchased the watch for $950 (using the $125 coupon and on tropic strap) I was charged $85 for California sales tax. I had never been charged a state sales tax on an international purchase before. Before I received the watch DHL sent me an invoice in the amount of $83 for custom duties. So my $950 watch ended costing $1108.
@@richardvanfrank8114 I'm in the UK and bought a watch from Lorier (in New York I believe). I paid a similar amount to you in import taxes etc. It was expected though, I looked up all the fees beforehand
And weirdly, with current exchange rates - you got your Christopher Ward cheaper than we can buy it... $1108 = £906.30. The watch on tropic strap is £1120 here, less £100 voucher is £1020. Strange!
I really like the finish and the contrast with the bezel/dial. I'm not a big fan of domed crystal but it looks pretty good on this one. Great looking movement as well
I worry about the lack of contrast in color between the dial and the hands. I have a watch now where the hands are the same color as the dial and it's hard to make out the time. I can see it fine with my glasses on but at night when I'm in bed it's hard to make out the time. I wish the outlined the hands in blue for contrast.
May i have it, and let me worry if i see the time, any time... or the scratches!😋 Beautyful watch, great GADA watch if needed. Thanks Marin, be well mate.
Thats a surprising amount of scratches on the hands. How many times has this watch been taking apart or was the person assembling this drunk? I had a 38mm C65 and the hands looked perfect.

Agree 100%. Hoping this exact same logo change is coming to an updated C60 Trident as well.
Same. Wouldn't even consider them before, but now I'm interested!
Seems a minor point

Just ordered it! This’ll be my first watch, let’s see how I like it 👍
how do you like it?

I ordered a watch as well. Did you get charged for tax at the initial point of sale and then had to pay another duty tax through DHL?

Love. Your reviews. Trying to decide between this one and a Rado captain cook
another awesome looking, vintage inspired watch. I just want all the money to buy all the watches in the world. love it. thanks for sharing 👍🏻
I just got my Aquitaine in green ,which is my 4th piece from CW :P
I ordered a c63 sealander gmt last week but this particular color combination is really nice, I might be sending back the c63 and buying this one.
don't! C63 is an exceptional timepiece! If you can afford it - keep them both!
@@miragebg1981 i decided to wait for the new Monta skyquest gmt opalin dial.
It’s a watch that I expect will stand out in certain colours or with certain strap combinations

Dome crystal. 😢 They would have gotten me to buy this with a flat display
1:47 what's with the scratches on the hands?
Does anybody know if this steel bracelet will fit with on the CW Trident 300, 42mm? Both this watch and the Trident 300 are 22mm lug width.
This or the Raso captain cook ? What are the differences ?
Excellent review

I made this comment before you mentioned it in the video! lol. So you see it too!!! It's not just me! lol
why they nolonger make the c65 chronograph

It's a good looking watch but something about it leaves me a bit cold. No idea what it is.
Can you do a review on gshock 9300 mudman please?
Nice!
That watch can't touch the Foliot Stratometer GMT. The Foliot currently has the best Lume in the industry and is sized smaller.
I like the flag logo better. Wouldn’t the usual Christopher Ward text also look too modern on this watch?
Hello bro :-)
horrible quality control - ok it's a prototype
CW have great designs…. But this sh’

Give me GShock pleaseee
Faux patina ruins yet another watch
