- Hands-Only CPR Can Save Lives. Most people who experience cardiac arrest at home, work or in a public location die because they don't receive immediate CPR from someone on the scene. If you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of any tune that is 100 to 120 beats per minute, such as the classic disco song "Stayin' Alive".
Imagine you Trying to save someone’s life by trying to watch how to do cpr but then 2 unskipable ads pop up💀
Truèeeeee
I got an ad
I agree...ridiculus
😂
Get premium dummy ❤
Thanks. My entire family just died because I had to watch an unskippable ad. I love you so much RUclips.
😂😂😂
Imagine you wake up after being unconscious and staying alive is just playing in the background 💀
He is stayin alive 🤷🏻♂️
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Trying to hold my laugh at the DMV but i can’t 😂😂😂🤣🤣
Why did I get an unskipable ad before this
Someone: I need to save my grandma from dying using CPR!
Ad:
WHY DID I GET A MINUTE UNSKIPPABLE AD MY GRANDMA WQS CHOKING HELP
The staying alive caught me off guard so bad
y’all should take the advertisements off of medical tutorials lmao. You’re potentially slowing down an emergency situation
RUclips forces ads on videos even if they arent montized
Remember to never do this for babies, toddlers, or really small little kids! It could cause permanent damage, there is a different procedure for them
I know that... We need to use our fingers(fore and middle) instead
With a 30:2 ratio when alone..and 15:2 with both thumbs when another rescuer is present
@@randomstuffswithrrdwhy does the ratio change when with a partner and why/how do you use your thumbs?
@@chris-8597 Toddlers and babies have a weaker rib cage compared to adults. So if you apply pressure using both hands, the chance of causing a potential injury is high since the pressure applied is too much. Using fingers will be the alternative option we have so that we can lower the risk of causing The research data suggests that the ventilation of the babies are important compared to an adult. Therefore it is advised to increase the ratio to 15:2 if you have a bystander. The interruptions should be minimized in between the compressions and the rescue breaths.
the fact "staying alive" I the tempo you use for cpr is pretty amazing
Wow! The ad at the start really helped!
The fact that there’s ads before this is wild 💀
0:36 this made my whole class laugh 💀
Same 🤣
Same fr 😆
We were pretty much cracking up over it 😭
WHY DID SHE WALK OVER TO HIM LIKE THAT.
PLEASEE
THE WAY SHE RIPPED HIS SHIRT OPEN TOO.
Because it's hard to do CPR from across the room?
To display dominance.
WHY HIS CHEST GOING DOWN LIKE THAT
Me: wanting to save someone
The 2 30 second unskippable ads:😈
I thought the same thing!!
Yeah is so mean from RUclips
😂😂
@@mustaki7620 yeah
RUclips is not good
@@miteriop2833 If nothing else, call emergency, accurately observe and report to them, then ask the dispatcher to walk you through saving the victim's life. Ask a bystander to get an AED.
Drowning needs 5 breaths before 30/20.
Lose anyone who doesn't know lifesaving techniques as well as you do, and only accept them back once they've proven that they've learned. Get together with your friends and make accurate training videos.
AHA should buy 2 super bowl ad slots and play this-could probably get a bazillionaire to pay for it or a health insurer. Instead of endless doritos commericals, this would show people you don't need to use your mouth and save thousands of people next year.
Imagine going on RUclips for cpr because your dog is choking and getting a 30 second unskipable ad 💀
You don't use CPR when someone's choking
This was very informative & helpful for people who need a refresher course.
Imagine getting a 20 second unskipable ad for this
As we all are aware of when giving CPR, you have to play the song number one priority Discard All aspects of life the song is the only thing that matters in this scenario.
great tutorial sad that there was a 20 sec unskippable ad but still great
Instructions unclear. Patient was resuscitated but has been singing Bee Gees for 72 hours straight
My teacher gave me this video and now I feel bad for bopping my head to the music
thank god my ad block still works
My grandmother passed out and I played this, but there’s a RUclips ad
This is so funny 😂 the positive way of saving life
I can't watch this without laughing because of the office CPR scene. Great info btw
i really love me some ads in a cpr tutorial
100-120 compression per minute song staying alive thank me later

😂
Lol thanks but didn't she say the same exact thing in the video?
Bro why i got an ad for an emergency video lol
This is not a very clear presentation - note that it stated if a teen or adult collapses - it doesn't explain that you should check for a pulse and if the person is breathing. What if he/she simply fainted and someone comes up and begins compressions? It can cause internal bleeding, broken ribs, etc. which could perhaps result in not staying alive. I'm just putting it out there.
1st video to pop up for me about cpr and had an unskippable ad, you care more about money than peoples lives
I got an ad before this video, and by the time it ended the person I was trying to save was already dead. Thanks a lot RUclips 😞.
With COVID 19 if someone collapses , everyone just 🏃 🏃 🏃
Is the truth unfortunately 😔
Why there was an ad before that video
Got an ad for this
After two unskipable ads and an intro I got to the video and my father died
I love the ad. Because of that someone died-
I got an ad 💀
That pun made me lol.
Very informative 👏
I wonder if the Bee Gees are flattered that their song is associated with this lol
Probably shouldnt have ads before this video if its an emergency
Watching this link sent from Shepherd Elementary Mooresville NC!
I was looking for the song....
I had to watch this when people were doing the psat at my school and this made me laugh. Idk why but it did. I already learned cpr last year so this was funny to me.
just had a 15 second ad
Wait… she didn’t even check a pulse or see if he was unresponsive.
Why the ad in front? You trying to kill somebody?
Central pivot range 😌
Why are there ads on this? Nice job RUclips👍
Great video!
Maybe RUclips shouldn’t put two ads before first aid videos
stayin alive stayin alive
You have to check his breath and heart rate
I recognize the narrator's wonderful Physics voice 😊
Please help how do I skip ads PLEASE HURRY
Me trynna save my lil brother 30 second add pops up
Stayin alive
PLEASE CHECK IF THE PERSON IS ONLY PAST OUT. NO CPR ON PEOPLE WHO ARE BREATHING NORMAL.!!!
Savin a life savin a life ah ah ah ah ah savin a liffffeeeeeee liffffeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeee ooooooooo YAAA!!!!
I WAS TRYING TO SAVE MY FRIEND BUT YOU HAD AN AD 😭😭
Wtf yt
Wtf yt
Thank you
Thank you very good people you are
I love this video so much
Doesn't their heart have to stop to do the compressions? It seems like someone could collapse but still not need cpr and this video seems to overlook that...
0Nomen no don’t check for a pulse, because you can feel your own pulse, 2nd (3 CHEST COMPRESSION WILL DO NO DAMAGE) 3) They start talking, etc stop chest compression (I’m a trainer for CPR)
@The 👺 Knows you really need 2 hands for an adult. And yeah, if youre doing good CPR you can often feel ribs cracking and broken ribs aren't uncommon. Beats being dead but isnt fun to wake up to, for sure.
I’m pushing on his chest but I don’t hear the BeeGees singing staying alive? Nor do I hear that clicking sound?…. Nevermind. He’s gone to see baby Jesus in the swaddlin’ cloth
Ha...my school made my friend and me watch this-- and made fun of it (sorry, the actually event is serious.) because it look just like SIMs, and "Stayin' Alive" the humor--- we were laughing so loudly...I think we were the only ones laughing thoughh--
Why this video has ads
Good information, Thanks--Hope I don't ever have to use it!
Do you need to be certified in order to perform CPR?
Bad tutorial my grandma was choking and there was a 20 second unskipable ad edit : she is dead 😭
Remove the adverts! Imagine if someone needs to watch this video in an emergency!!!
Check their pulse first. You do not want to perform CPR if there's still a pulse.
There was an ad in front of the video and my grandma is now dead.
I heard somewhere you can get into trouble for performing cpr?
Stayin aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive
they have ads turned on on this video
Alright just play bee gees song staying alive then push the chest. Got it. I'll download the song to be prepared.
What the f*ck, i have to watch ad before quick CPR tutorial
I just want to let everyone know that
Not to do the breathing in the mouth unless it’s for children I believe.
Also don’t do the breathing in the mouth on adults it’s still a no unless your trained I believe.
If you want more info please watch this video and hopefully that can help as well.

Big brain move: call 911, wait
You're not supposed to give air at all, only do compressions until the paramedics get there
@@senorclown9882 nah u tryna kill somebody my boy
@@senorclown9882 as a paramedic speaking, yes you can as long at you are using the ratio on adult every 30 compression 2 breaths and every 15 compression 2 breaths on a child
but for how long do we do this for?
Untill the person responds or EMS are there to help.
Check if the person is breathing first!!!! Please!!!!!!!
I'd definitely check the neck for a pulse first. CPR can brake rib bones btw although worth it it the heart stops
There could be an initial step of trying to see if he's just sleeping.
@@luisacarlottaferreira1396 I'm not understanding what you wrote. How many people sleep in public?
@@luisacarlottaferreira1396 If he's just sleeping, surely he'd wake up if someone is vigorously pounding on your chest and shouting for emergency services?
Wrong ! get properly trained
Whatever happened to checking for breathing and pulse before initiating compressions?
Why do we not perform mouth-to-mouth breath resuscitations?
I think it’s for children but don’t do it on adults it’s still a no unless your trained I believe.
If you want more info please watch this video and hopefully that can help as well.

You can also perform CPR at the beat of Tokyo by Leat'eq (nyah ichi ni san nyah arigato)
This is so helpful! Thank you for the video.
Please find another video. This isn’t it.
Too many comments stating that after waiting for the ads their patient died. Are you really so daft that you needed to find your device, use google, find this video, watch it then provide help? If so this needs to be shared widely so others have a least a clue about what to
do. Yeah, I get that the ads are frustrating but that joke is overused here.😊
What does the acronym CPR mean? Anyone know?
Cardiac pulmonary recessitation (sp) if remember correctly.
Great video and informative too!
Everybody download Staying Alive lol
my friend just died becouse of 2 unskipable 30sec pop up ad.
The video says, push hard and fast in the center of the chest, but isn’t the proper technique actually above the heart area? You would think this crucial item would be clearly an unambiguously expressed..

The three minute ad on this video: 😏
Well now I can’t get Stayin’ Alive on the brain. Great advice.
Very informative!
