  • Anyone who likes water should not miss the following video.
Today we are going to learn the different methods and products to create water.
Don't miss the Master class prepared by our colleagues at Pintado a Juego, where we can learn how to design for our dioramas and projects, from a marine scene, and give it maximum realism by creating sea foam, through a muddy field with puddles, to stagnant water.
    You can't miss it!

Is it possible to add paint to the water gel or would that prevent it from drying? I would like to create some variations in the water effect by mixing in colours.

If you don't have an air brush, what else can you use for the wave effects?

You can blow air with your mouth. But it’s recommended to work in small sections at the time.

You can use a Plastic straw to blow air in a specific area

If I had to guess they used their own "Muddy Ground" texture paste. Pretty nice to work with.

Do you think it could be rolled up if I tried it on a roll out mat?

Thanks for your comment. No rolling it up will crack the surface of the resin water.

Your paints in that small bottle can you put them in an airbrush

Of course, you can use the 3gen paint in your airbrush, mix them with AK11500 acrylic thinner in an at least 50/50 paint thinner ratio, set your compressor on about 2 bars and you are ready to go.

Hi AK interactive ! The first method (Water gel Pacific Blue) does not seem convincing at all. It looks far too dark. Is it a problem with the video, or is it necessary to paint it ? Thanks !

It is an example on how to create water effects, not a full tutorial for a diorama. You do need to adapt this examples to your liking.
