This is great, i went in to anaphylactic Shock just before going to sleep in an operation. Within seconds it happened, first itchy arm rash and swelling, then i felt sick and i sat up, told them and a nurse brought a sick bowl, when she came back i said what is that for, she said you feel sick so i looked at the anesthatist and said do i feel sick, he said yes. Then my breathing becomes strange so i told him, he looked at the vitals machine and back at me. I then said i don't feel well and felt that dread of DOOM, he looked at the machine again and said " my blood pressure had dropped very low and that he needed to treat me. I don't remember anything after he said that only waking up in a recovery ward near the operation rooms. The anesthatist or the surgeon came to see me before i was discharged, he said that i had gone in to anaphylactic shock and to make sure that i told any pharmacist ect. He gave me a piece of paper with the two meds that he thinks what caused it but was not sure which one it was. ROUND 2. On a wake procedure, the only thing i was given was pethidine, within minutes an itchy arm rash and swelling, i told the nurse and the doctor, then i felt like my breathing was strange, the nurse looked at the vitals machine and said said, she's gone TACHYCARDIA, the doctor said your in anaphylaxis and i need to treat you. I don't remember anything after that, only waking up on the recovery ward. I have an allergic reaction to ARCOXIA tablets, which include pitted edema both legs from knee down. My family doctor told me to stop taking them and start again once the swelling was gone after 5 days. I started them again and once again after about 9 to 10 days of taking them, i got pitted edeamia in both legs with an itchy arm rash. I told my doctor, he said i was having an ellergic reaction to them so i could not take them anymore. He put me on EpiPens, he said because i seem to have ellergic reactions to some medication drugs, i could get a bad reaction to any, immediately or delayed reactions. Luckily i didn't need hospital treatment for that little episode, but i do have an autoimmune inflammatory arthritis disease, which i was diagnosed with 2 years ago and the tablets was to try and treat it but was put on methotrexate injections. I have a kidney stone still stuck in my kidney, i need an operation to remove it after it not going by itself. The 1st and second episode was at the same hospital i am having the stone removed. They must be dreading me because i know once you have had an severe life threatening reaction, you are more prone to get them again. Never mind them dreading me, Im dreading that operation room and taking any kind of pain killers at home, i never want to use my EpiPen.
