Chuckie wasn't my favourite Rugrat but seeing him standing all alone in the corner watching the other babies dancing with their mothers broke my heart.
This film came out when I was 7, 22 now. [I feel old..] Personally I think this is the best out of the three Rugrats films, the plot's really good and there's so many moments where your heart goes "FEELS!" If I ever have kids in the future, they are going to watch Rurgats
My time as a teenager is coming to an end, and I still love the rugrats, ever since I was a toddler I've enjoyed this show, where did my childhood go? ;_;
Sad news, Rugrats fans; Debbie Reynolds, best known for voicing the title character in the original animated film version of 'Charlotte's Web' has passed away at age 84. I just knew she'd be next. Since she was the voice of Grandma Lulu in the Rugrats series, I'd like to dedicate this song to her as well. Goodbye, Lulu. Enjoy your reunion up there with Grandpa Lou.
I'm 11 years old and I will do anything to watch this movie when I can! Such a great but sad movie! The only kid movie that has such a great meaning to it
+chrissy thilmany Not to mention that we also lost Joe Alaskey (2nd voice of Grandpa Lou), Jack Riley (Stu), Ron Glass (Randy Carmichael), and just recently, Debbie Reynolds, the voice of Grandma Lulu. This song is for all five of them.
This will always bring back memories of my childhood even though i was born in 1998. 90s shows were the first I watched I will always have a place for them in my ❤ along with the 00s shows. I dubbed this passage. Innocent days😪😔😔😌
This movie sure brings me back memories from my childhood, and this song makes me wanna cry it's soo emotional. I got to say in that movie poor Chuckie having no mom to dance it made me cry to see a sad face.
I didn't cry at the first scene where this appeared. BEFORE YOU ATTACK ME, I was very little at the time and didn't have a clear understanding. Looking at it now, I flood my house with tears. To be honest, I have a lot of people pass ever since I was little and kept going year after year and two years ago, two in one year. This song makes me sad, true, but makes me know that there up there watching from a better place.
I remember being in tears every time this song came on when I was a kid, during that airplane scene where the clouds take the form of his mother's outline. Damn. Listening to this now is like looking through some kind of window.
Im 25 years old, and I will never forget the day I watched this movie on the movie theather, I cried so much like everybody on the room, this song reminds me my childhood and the best years of my life. This movie and the song will be in my heart forever. Thanks Rugrats ❤
This song always makes me cry... yeah cause of Rugrats, cause I could sorta relate to Chuckie, because my mom abandoned me when I was 6 years old, just a few months after I sang "I want a mom" from that same movie to her....
God so many memories from this song stupid age. But our kids can enjoy these movies I have the whole set on VHS and when i have kids I have a little of me to show.
This song reminds me of my childhood, all the family members I lost, my grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a former ex girlfriend... And it reminds me that they're all there watching me... :'3
I was two when this came out, but I saw this when I was 5. And I miss it sooo much. DAmnit, my childhood's gone of this fucking malicious shows on tv, when they don't have the common curtisy to show them in the daytime. I cry my eyes when this song's on.
Rugrats was my favorite show growing up in the 90's and in the early 2000's. Tommy, Chuckie, Phil & Lil, and Angelica the original gang they were always a treat to see! I have the shows and movies and as I liten to this I realize that they were a big impact on my childhood! All Grown Up was a treat too. One day I plan on having my children experience Rugrats also. :')
omg I'm 21 now and I remember like it was yesterday when my mom got me this soundtrack I love every song on here it was like the only CD in my CD player and I see I still love it the best kids show and soundtrack of all times!!!!!!
I was 2 when this came out in 2000 and I remember (and I still do) have a vhs copy of this and I watched it here and there and now I'm 17 (almost 18) and this is my favorite song on this soundtrack, I felt crushed when Chucky sees everyone else dancing with their mom's and since this song is so good (the best by Sinead O'Connor in my opinion) should be my future wedding song with my future wife hopefully.
This part of the movie when Chuckie was standing off to the side watching as his friends dance with their moms and Chaz is sitting alone watching Chuckie looking sad, always made me shed a tear. To live without your mom at such a young age. And I loveeee my mom to death, i would take a bullet for her.
Its 2016 an my little sister said when my boyfriend get married she said play this song not for you an him but for you an I I said you got a deal this will always be on song no matter where we are tougher or not. I will be there dancing with you to this song then to hear you stop it go sit down Lol I love my little sister.😊 miss you😭😭
It's such a sad movie... sad and happy. *sniff* I love this song! And yeesh, people do not read the titles these days? *reading down in comments* The song title is in the flipping AMV Title!
My parents wedding anniversary is coming up this Friday. My Dad passed away December of last year from Brain cancer and early onset Parkinsons. I listen to this song a lot when I'm missing him ^^
Hugs to both of you. I know it's hard, but sometimes music is the best for healing and getting through an emotionally hard day/time. That's how it has worked for me :)
@LuigiFletcherBieber i never though a song i liked when i was little and never knew what the words ment, coming back and crying when i hear it about 9 years later
Just out of curiosity (try to probe your memory, fellow 90s kids) Does anybody else remember "predicting" this movie coming? Thanksgiving 1999 or so when Rugrats released the episode where Grandpa Lou was in the hospital and met the nurse who he married in the movie....and how Stu was also working on some "big project" at the time.... idk am I the only one who had a "gut feeling" that a big movie (TV or theater) was coming?
I was awaking to this sound and beat lay asleep by my daughter. Once watching the movie , now asleep beside me she couldn't answer my whispering question. " née née , who sings that song?" No reply , I found myself get up touch iPad and it shut off.
this song remind me of my childhood all the family memders I lost. my grandfrther uncle cousin and a fomer ex boyfriend and it reminds me that they're all there watching me

I really felt so bad for Chuckie when this song played.
Just finished the movie on tv. still gets me:-)! Especially when Chuckie says he wants a mom to "love him" .
I didn't cry at the first scene where this appeared. BEFORE YOU ATTACK ME, I was very little at the time and didn't have a clear understanding. Looking at it now, I flood my house with tears. That part when Chuckie's daddy picks up Chuckie. ohhh so cute. And Chuckie looks so said.
