I watched treasure map before this so I'm a little biased but the way people spoke of him and how they used to hate him but now love him is weird... cause he got way less screentime on treasure box and wasn't bad- just had a little fumble in choreo and people didn't want him in their group because they wanted the high ranking trainees who trained for years and were undeniable good
@@kylaholder3561 I have never hated him, but it is undeniable that I was surprised when he was announced to be on the debut line because on the T-box show, many trainees were much more mature. But YG saw great potential from him (apart from his really handsome face LOL ), and it was true! He's so quick to learn! I'm very proud of him :) Don't get me wrong :) I always support them all. i think the reason why jaehyuk debuted is not just bcs he is improving every single day.. but also bcs when he is on stage, he is very comfortable, he is very charming, he knows how to capture the audience, he is very appealing, he is charming, he knows what he is doing. oh my god he is just so pretty when he is on stage. very natural.
The fact that GROWL is the leftover song gets me 😂 as we all know growl is really hard to cover with full falsetto and high note but the team did so well!
Praise to the Growl Team, Even the veterans avoided the song due to its difficulty, they face the challenge at a young age and the fact that none of them trained for 1 year and more screams how all talented and hardworking they are especially Junghwan And Jaehyuk. Even though they rank last, they still get my atmost respect.
I feel bad for yoshinori... as a person who also lost her father when I was 6 years old. I can understand his situation. But because he is the MAN of the family.... he has alot of burden on his shoulders. He spend his time training just in the hopes that someday he will debut and become rich or famous and take care of his mother and sister.... ahhhhhhhhh life is just so cruel sometimes

I really respect bang yedam so much. Its hard to balance school and being a trainee. It was hard to feel the pressure. Not all people are good in balancing their time and passion. Im so surprised with Jaehyuk. Seriously, imagine, u are picked by YG staff by the street. After few months being trainee, u have to defeat +- 20 trainees with at least 2 or 3 years experience as a trainee. Plus, u hv to fight with people that dream to be a singer for yearss, maybe since they were born. Even in vlive, Jaehyuk never said he wants to be a singer. I don't know how he find his motivation and drive to keep going in this competition. Because different from other trainees who develop their skill during this survival show, jaehyuk develop his passion and drive to be an idol. If I've been in his place, i would give up.

Junghwan and Jaehyuk did a great job 👏🏻 They have a big pressure like what the vocal teacher said because both of them took most of the vocal and rap part of the song, and actually it was hard to sing “Growl”. But they were performed it well. They really did a great job

in this episode i just realized that exo growl have so many high notes and falsettos (even the harmonization in bridge part) than the other 3 songs that only exo can do perfectly(as expected it's exo with top tier vocal lines) BUT THESE TRAINEES DID WELL TOO ACTUALLY! AND IM IMPRESSED AND SURPRISED.
Listening to EXO songs, you really don’t notice until another group chooses to cover that it’s quite difficult to sing vocally. I will always give props to other groups covering another songs, not just EXO, cause those songs are catered to the original group. The boys did well for being so young.

YG's clear faves since the beginning in particular order: 1. Bang Yedam (prodigy) 2. Haruto (visual and that unique low-tone voice, stan attractor) 3. Park Jeongwoo (musical genius) 4. Junkyu (He has been looking out for him since MixNine) - These four are the 'untouchables'. You can see through YG's eyes and reactions since ep.1 that he's going to debut these four no matter what. Even the trainees fear them.
@Mrs Louis i don't think it's unfair imo. let's say that this show was never been created and the group was formed like the other groups (so without survival show, like blackpink for example). who do you think will debut? obv the ceo's faves. if we take the blackpink example, probably jennie, jisoo, rosé and lisa were his favourite and that's why they debuted. it's like this for many other groups i'm sure. especially in the big 3 there is always sm competition. remember that it's the company who choose who debut, and it's normal for them to have already in the mind some people to debut. idk if you can understand (english is not my first language) but i hope my point was clear

From the moment Yang Hyunsuk saw Jeongwoo's audition I know he was already set in debuting him (he reminded him of Daesung). As for Junghwan, he really saw something in him. I think more than the talent and the visual that he already has, he saw a great character in Junghwan that's why he can't let him go and we're totally seeing it now with their debut (see Boy live stages)

I watched treasure map before this so I'm a little biased but the way people spoke of him and how they used to hate him but now love him is weird... cause he got way less screentime on treasure box and wasn't bad- just had a little fumble in choreo and people didn't want him in their group because they wanted the high ranking trainees who trained for years and were undeniable good

But YG saw great potential from him (apart from his really handsome face LOL ), and it was true! He's so quick to learn! I'm very proud of him :) Don't get me wrong :) I always support them all. I feel bad for yoshinori... as a person who also lost her father when I was 6 years old. I can understand his situation. But because he is the MAN of the family.... he has alot of burden on his shoulders. Im so surprised with Jaehyuk. Seriously, imagine, u are picked by YG staff by the street. After few months being trainee, u have to defeat +- 20 trainees with at least 2 or 3 years experience as a trainee. Plus, u hv to fight with people that dream to be a singer for yearss, maybe since they were born. Even in vlive, Jaehyuk never said he wants to be a singer. I don't know how he find his motivation and drive to keep going in this competition. Because different from other trainees who develop their skill during this survival show, jaehyuk develop his passion and drive to be an idol. If I've been in his place, i would give up.

@Mrs Louis i don't think it's unfair imo. let's say that this show was never been created and the group was formed like the other groups (so without survival show, like blackpink for example). who do you think will debut? obv the ceo's faves. if we take the blackpink example, probably jennie, jisoo, rosé and lisa were his favourite and that's why they debuted. it's like this for many other groups i'm sure. especially in the big 3 there is always sm competition. remember that it's the company who choose who debut, and it's normal for them to have already in the mind some people to debut.

From the moment Yang Hyunsuk saw Jeongwoo's audition I know he was already set in debuting him (he reminded him of Daesung). As for Junghwan, he really saw something in him. I think more than the talent and the visual that he already has, he saw a great character in Junghwan that's why he can't let him go and we're totally seeing it now with their debut (see Boy live stages)
