In the first Deep Dive stream, if you look at the pool that the water slide with yellow and transparent stripes empties into, you will see some parts that are shallower than others.
Don't forget the screenshot also confirms 2 more old school rides we didn't see yet! The Big Wheel can be seen in the top right, that means 3 out of 4 Planet Coaster 1 wheels have been confirmed to be in Planet Coaster 2. Secondly in the left you can see what strongly resembles the Hammer Swing. It resembles it enough to consider the Hammer Swing soft confirmed to be in Planet Coaster 2 :)
I’ve definitely noticed some sloped floors in the pool, which would allow you to do a zero-level entry like what we see in real-life wave pools. However, beyond these slopes, the “default” depths of the pools appear to be uniform, similar to what we saw in RCT3 Soaked.
There was a brief section of the Deep Dive that appears to show a shallow end of a pool, with someone standing in it. It's around the 12:46 mark of the Deep Dive recap video (right of the screen as they show off the pools)
Check the original in-game footage there are people walking in shallow water. I will say the water looks better in this rendering, less transparent and more wave distubances breaking up the clarity.
Think u may didin't see the hammer swing left on top now also confirmed and if u look closely, we can see that some parts of the swimming pool have drainage, don't know what that means tho
National Rollercoaster Day is on 16 August, so it would be strange if there was nothing new about rollercoasters in Planet Coaster 2 on that day, wouldn't it?
Several people have already mentioned it, but there's at least 3 different depths for the pools shown in the deep dive: shallow, medium, and deep. I hope they eventually give us different things for the various depths - like those kids slide structures with the big buckets for the shallow areas, and swim up gulpee/pipshot bars for the medium depth areas. Also, if they add splash out endings for slides, being able to place them in the shallow water in addition to on top of paths. I'm going to have to see some more of the scenery themes. The themes seem to favor more water themed rides, but I guess I'll have to wait for more pieces to be shown. I do have a few ideas though, like (depending on the pieces) mixes the Aquatic and Mythology themes for a Post-Apocalypse theme, or mixing Aquatic with some of the other themes for an Industrial theme. I just hope there's some really good flexicolor rubble, stone pillars/objects, and statue pieces in Mythology.
Oh we're going deep, I've waited 8 years to cover this game better this go around and im excited to keep up with it. We could be at 50K by January if I can pull this off correctly
In the original unlocked video at 12 minutes and 29 seconds there is a woman who swims to a shallower end of the pool and then gets out at the edge with no ladder right next to the lifeguard.
That’s what I’m hoping. RCT3, RCTW, and Parkitect a mod have a wheel like that. PC just has a big wheel like the Wonder Wheel in Coney Island, a more modern big wheel without spokes, and a smaller wheel like a Chance wheel which is just like the one at Dorney Park near me. Then there’s the Rock o plane wheel and the pirate or nautical themed kiddie wheel in PC1.
So does this start a steady stream of info and screenshots?

I don’t do social media other than RUclips so I wouldn’t see this content otherwise.
See!? I’ve got you buddy 😂🤜

Oh very nice! 🤩

I don’t really look at social media so appreciate these shorter videos. They are watched and appreciated!

@@CommanderRealwar Aye hope post apocalyptic has it's own theme.
I never complain when you post. Please post as you can and I'm good!!!!!! Thank you for sharing this to us. I'm so ready to play PC2!! :D :D
Will do!! 😊❤️
I want in depth Sdan videos of every screen shot.... gimmie all the screen shots and info dumps! Gamescom will also give us more info!

Aye didn't expect reflections in the pools, but it's there. The developer build didn't have reflections.
Sdan: makes video on one screenshot
Me: yes
Can’t wait for preorders
Will there be a deep dive today? I really want to see more again.
That would be nice! Im not sure if they're saving deep dives for the Frontier Unlocked though
I love micro-covering! Keep it going
Edit: And that fern looks very similar to the king fern from PZ's Oceania Pack
The animation is gorgeous
totally appreciate anything you can find about PC2

There was a wave pool in the DeepDive and I think that had a zero depth pool
I see the big wheel Ferris Wheel in the screen
I wish they had the Pharaoh's fury boat ride
Sea Dragon would be even cooler
I hope we have the Giant Ferris Wheel like at Morey’s Piers
