After being released from jail and fighting the case, Richie Rich details how members of the group went behind his back and signed a deal with Priority Records without, despite him forming the group. GLAD RICH IS HERE TO GET HIS FLOWERS WHILE HE'S BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!💯
Richie Rich has and continues to have one of the coolest voices I've heard in rap. Similar to Eazy E, thier tones flowed smoothly over the beats.
Shamar Remp facts
Hell yea his voice make the song better
I was 15 when 415 came out, I still knock that album present day.
@TheseKlownsKrazy AsFuq 4RealTho That's crazy when u think about it, Richie Rich been in the rap game for 30+ yrs... Shit that makes me old as fuck ??? Lol

When it comes to Priority Records you already know Brian Turner got in their ear on some sidewinder shit. Just like he did Cube.💯
That’s how these bigger record companies do wit the smaller artist an group’s
Since you’re interviewing Bay Area legends, you should interview Ant Banks.
And JT the Bigga Figga.
Teddy B

HHHEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO! That would be a great interview!
I remember someone handing out the tape at Eastmont Mall. I took the tape home & the rest was history. I didn't know the whole story but I did know the story of Richie Rich going to Jail . I always wondered why 415 didn't reunite after Richie Rich prison term but now I understand. One of my favorite bay area groups of all time. The Oakland area code changed in 90 or 91 (510)
I used to look up to Jed. He from my block. RIP to his brother, the homie Gerald.
Jed was probably upset with Rich. He didn’t want Rich selling no dope.
@Don Situations sense
Rich ended up connecting with the greatest rapper of all time.. Legendary shit
@titanaup If you believe in yourself, the long con always beats the short one. 100k is a real test of character TODAY lllllol & that 100k would go a lot further almost 30 yrs ago.
More like 6 degrees destiny cause they go back to '88-'89... DJ Daryl was down w Strictly Dope (Pac Ray Luv) and for a long time every time Pac was on the West Coast Rich or Money B was always in the mix somewhere
This interview got me revisiting the Jason Weaver interview. Richie is like the street wise big brother. Thorough w/the answers!
D-Loc was nice on the mic. I bought that cassette in 89. The Sideshow was bumping too. It would be nice if AMW could be interviewed. Rell, the Chucksta, Chris Mellow
Facts!!
They had that dope track on the Cellblock Compilation, Guaranteed to get High. Wore that tape out
I was 17 in Cincinnati oh when I was bangin that tape, it had some songs on it rich u gotta give them a break😂😂😂🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

Leopold's, I haven't heard that name in a long time, man this shit bringing back memories
Great story!
Simply put...Town Business! Rich a Real One.
Rich has the hardest voice ! Even just talking I’m like damn he sounds hard.
First and favorite song all time “ain’t gon do”
“Dion’s the name that was given to me but I’m D-Loc when I chill wit the posse” 415 is & will always be classic material!

Richie Rich had a nice smooth flow back in the day.
Rich I respect the slide back real G shit, that showed morals and dignity against disloyalty!!!! Salute 👑.
Don't forget Brotha Broski!
He reminds me of the glove
Bwoiii Rich
Rich a legend..
I would love to hear, see or read an interview with Jed, Ted Bohannon, Chris Hicks and Dean Hodges, etc. If you are familiar with these names then you know what I'm saying. Street cats from the Town that got in the music game and put legends on.
Seasoned vet still one of my favorite albums
Def Jam did not know what they had
Season veteran forever a classic

You guys need to interview DJ Daryl!!!
Since when did they start Editing out the cursewords
I'm glad he touched on the situation with 415 and Priority. That shit was foul. And when the album did drop, Rich's presence was definitely missed. D-Loc wasn't that dude to carry that album. Town Biz! Old school ESO on mine. Bancroft Ave & Vicksburg Ave!
Rather be ya Nigga ! Is one of his best verses in my opinion .
Y’all hear heavy in the game with pac ft richie, it’s gasss
Dmx > 2pac and richie rich
Pac was suspect to the game when he wore that tutu
You sound like you just heard it recently.
You mean heavy in the game? But a fasho slap
Pacific Heights nah it’s been a min I’ve had had a point wherei would slap me against the word over but tryna expand to more music
Richie Rich & Jed was on some Ice Cube/Jerry Heller type shit!!

They Have Put Out Some Real Funk Over The Years
Richie Rich became Busta Phree 😁 one of my favorite songs from him
"90, damn, another decade, well I guess it's my time to get paid" Richie Rich, 415in.
DJ Daryl would be a great interview for Glad. He was involved with many Oakland rappers as well as No Limit.
Half thang is a classic....
Jed recently filed a lawsuit against Apple and NBC Universal for them using "Side Show" without permission in the Amazing Stories episode "The Heat".
Word?
I remember old schools slapping "Groupie Ass B!tch" back in the day! you think the music now is loud back the you use to be able to hear people music from blocks away. I seriously wonder if any of those dude have hearing problems lmao
Rich is a True!!
Rich you was way better than any rapper in 416 you can flow a song just freestyling I heard you do it before 415 was started (RAW TALENT)
Having principals is something different!
"Ima hangout but never stay"
Snoop based his whole group off of 415.
It's amazing that y'all sit y'all country ass on Vlad TV and know nothing about The Bay Area.
In fact, Snoop based his WHOLE style and flow off Richie Rich. He admits it, too!!!
“They changed 4-1-5 to 5-1-0, WTF they do that fo’?”
Mac Ted(RIP)
Vlad : so during your time in 415 did you run across suge knight
Wondering if his Cutless still Bumbs & he’s still ending Dice games!
Yay Areaaaaa!!!
"Groupie ass biitch" was tha shiznit
Interview C-BO!!
“Regina” still slaps
Lol, I was 7 years old when we got the "510" area code. I remember Pacific Bell coming to my school and passing out stickers and coloring books with 510 all over them. Damm, I'm show my age right now.
We bought the second album thinking we'd get richie rich an d loc flowing like the first album!, but rich wasn't on the album period!, the street's was like???, an once that word spread, that album was a wrap!, right off the cliff!!!
OG rock baller! The double R!
Vlad question - Did he to to jail? Richie Rich "NO" Vlad in his head 'DAMN"
Does Vlad edit the cursing now?
Damn 18 oz rocked up. He lucky he only got a few years back then!
Town fuckin legend
God mode.
Gotta get C-bo interview
South Memphis
If you never heard the “415in” record I suggest you do your homework! That’s a bay classic!
i remember a time when a couple of my friends were tellin me.....@ 1:41 them peoples FBI , NSA , NASA,
These Richie rich videos I remember studying Tupac and I saw him with 2pac counting money
Richie rich was learning some of PACs best ballet moves back at the school of the arts in videos 🤣🏳️🌈🌈🧚♀️
Not too many mf’s would slide that check back knowing they come from the hood n never had much in life. I respect him for that.
Vlad went to Berkley... U C US
Vlad, please interview more people from the bay!! This is one of my favorite rappers and since you are lightweight from the bay, it’s your duty bruh!! RIP Tupac Mr Cee Mac Dre and El niño brown!! A RBL interview is needed
Good riddance to that fluffy and fruity ballerina 2pac 🤣🏳️🌈🌈🧚♀️🐰
Vlad needs to interview more Dangerous Crew! Pee Wee, Mhisani (Goldy), Pooh Man, Ant Banks, Shorty B, Father Dom...
Come on Vlad!!
@@ThaMizphit74 hell yeah the Dangerous Crew
Black C is the only living member of RBL Posse. That would be a dope interview he’s from the old school before The City became gentrified for tech nerds. Would be a dope interview.
My Team Over Yours You familiar with the Thizzler RUclips channel? Black C was interviewed there.
Vlad..... we need a Hammer interview
Richie was like the easy e of 415.
D loc was the ice cube and mc Ren
Of hip hop.
Jed was like the executive producer he was like how uncle Luke and puffy was in the game.
Dj Daryl was like the Dr. Dre of the group cus he had good beats .
That became a great quartet
I like the Oakland accents.
Hope he’ll ask some Mac Dre questions!
When did Glad TV become censored?
His views slowing up lol he gotta keep safe for advertising purposes 😂
That second 415 album was still dope. It just had a different feel. Brother Broski rapping with DLoc worked, but I consider them 2 seperate groups. 415 and 415 2.0
I didn't think so. But however people I knew who heard that tape and hadn't heard the 1st one liked it tho. Wasn't it called new niggas on the block r sumthin like that.
Broski and DjD had another project after all that. Section-8. Never got beyond a local EP, but is the evolution of the 2.0 sound without a label interfering. Slaps, if you can find it.
@@opieg7333 Good looking out. I'm definitely going to look for that.
Ain't Nothing But A Come Up is one of my all time favorite songs, any genre...
@@dogsandyoga1743 "Section 8 - Then and Now", should find it... when you done with that, check for "Kollision - High Performance" - DjD did most of that production too, dropped in 95 or 96... DjD was all over the place back then... few Pac songs, some LA stuff.. just never got recognized like some of the other producers. To me, second to only Mike Mosley for Bay Area producers...
Richie "RIGHT" Rich
"Yeah man, my friend ripped me off. We were buying a kilo of cocaine, he took off with the money. The drug game wasn't for me" -VLAD 👮
Rich is a real ass dude.
I’m sacked up so when ya see me scream RR if ya need me
Forever a Dragon....Double R
