I remember camping there while those was on years ago, evertime the outboards would start everyone would start booing them lol

@@__beer__ however, over 30 Outboard powered boats ran in the race. That is over 60 skiers getting the experience of racing on that river. And some of those 60 will eventually move up to the faster turbo V8 engine powered boats.
Also, the Twin Outboard powered boats are Fast !!!
