Ol' middle aged mom living large. My dinner was spoiled by my rowdy kids. All you can eat samguapsul and I had to cut it short. I was fixing to put a hurting on that restaurant, but didn't want the kids bothering everyone.
Having a cucumber instead of a dill pickle was a big surprise for me when i first ordered a burger in Manila in '77. The worker asked if I wanted a pickle and of course I said yes and got a cucumber. lolol. Never forget it. One of my first encounters of the more subtle cultural differences between America and the PI.

One of the hamburger joints I went to there the hamburger patties were thin…like they cut it as thin as they could off of a roll the size of a pepperoni roll then stomped on it several times to get it to fit the bun…lol…but it did have a good flavor
