As someone who runs an organization remotely, I can attest it will make you feel like a billionaire, even if your income statement doesn't. The really great news is that more people than ever will get to experience that feeling as remote work becomes the norm.

Well this summary has made me want to NOT pick up this book! As a handyman, I love working w/ my hands. As an entrepreneur, I love working... period. Happy I saw this.
I recently read this book and I am here to tell all of you that this book includes A LOT of helpful information for everyone. Except, it's PRIMARILY focused on employees who typically work in an office environment. Therefore, if you work on a trade say as an auto mechanic, electrician, plumber, landscaper etc., the majority of the solutions provided in this book will be impossible for you to do. The jobs I mentioned physically require you to be there & this book concentrates on automation which means having tasks being taken care of without requiring your presence. Either somebody else does it or... believe it or not, it does itself. (The brilliance of this book.) Now, I will say this though. It's not entirely all about work! There's plenty of philosophy & life advice that will change your perspective on retirement. Seriously, you'll be glad you read it. Conclusion: Read this book regardless of your occupation. It's worth the time & attention!
It's a really good one 😊 Quite interesting how even a lot of the advice on software still is relevant today, 10 years later. Tim Ferriss was an early-adopter indeed.
I haven't read this book yet, it's definitely on my reading list! I'm currently reading "Ask and it is given". What are all of you reading right now, I would love to get some ideas :))
Lindsey Spiteri Bellizzi I can definitely recommend it! Among the upcoming books on this channel are many that are more focused specifically on investing - such as those of Peter Lynch, Philip A Fisher, George Soros, Carl Icahn and Joel Greenblatt 😊
Thanks to tim for his advice on outsourcing my work and compensating in rupees. As someone living in India, it's the most helpful thing I've ever heard. Kudos to swedish investor too!
This is great and all however My concern is this. Once you start doing all that and make less workload for yourself, bosses also start dumping more workload on you because they will think you can handle more since you’re doing great on the current workload. This will be a vicious cycle, how to deal with this? Another thing, what if you work in a startup and don’t have a lot employees, then you don’t have a lot to delegate and also you can’t outsource since it will be considered revealing confidential documents. I’m interested to get some thoughts on this
Loved this summary. Thank you. I'd love to use this video as a reference for clients. One request: Could you add captions for watching on silent and more retention? Thank you!

Yes, I could write a book about how to make money... But starting a channel on youtube is probably better and can get you money directly by ads. The difficulty lies in being unique and finding the right topic. And precious time is wasted and running out as we speak.
That is, two years of work by a banker give a return of 12.5 years of work in this method. And those two years are enough to buy an apartment for you and the children. Or invest them wisely and earn even more. Then you will not even have to work 4 hours a week. But you'll do it just or fun :)
The last step with the "employee" makes it sound like every employee can do that work from home thing. But is terrible wrong and the assumption is borderline offensive. What about doctors or bus drivers?! How they can work from home? What about plane pilots or flight operator?! What about builders, or construction workers?! So many jobs that are laughing tonyour face if you explain them "the plan"
Well, of course you need to use your thinking on "How could I apply this plan to my career?" or "Is it possible to apply this in my career at all?". If it's not, you have to think about "What should I start doing in order to make this happen, career switch for example" this is if you truly want this.
Doctors are not employees in the traditional sense they are pledged to sacrifice their own wellbeing for the sake of others like the sin eater. A bus driver is a temporary job, nobody should have a career in bus driving it should be done as a way to build up capital when your at rock bottom
Obviously this principle doesn't apply to every profession. We will always need people who physically do stuff. There will always be people who prefer that type of work environment. The 4 hour work week is a good system for many though. Especially the self employed.
