Great video. I just did this to my 2008 crown victoria police interceptor. For me the hard part was figuring out how to put the end of the rod into the door latch assembly. Once I figured out that when you loosen the latch assembly you have to insert the rod right after the white grommet. There is only a little bit of room the twisting of the latch assembly helps to insert the rod. After that it was pretty straightforward just like his video. I agree you have to remove all the rivets from the door handle assembly to get the rod in.
Another good job handy dad, Oh, by the way, I wanted to tell you I had my rims powder coated, 5 including my. Spare. Came out beautiful. I bought new hubcaps. Everything came out to Three hundred dollars

Hello, I have a question. Installed rear door rods - still opening the doors from the inside only works when they are unlocked. What did I miss?
I think the rear doors don't open when locked so you probably have normal operation
