    Its been a year I am following this lady’s content and I built confidence by listening to her advice that a good singer is who is able to understand what is happening with her vocal cords, breathe and all other physical condition. That’s how I lighten my road in moving forward .

    I literally love this lady. She has taken the old singer in me and brought New Life to my vocal cords. I had almost given up on music, but she showed me how do strength train. My voice has never been stronger. Listen to her.....

      I am exactly the same. She transformed me from someone with no confidence in my voice and ready to give up, to someone who will perform anywhere, anytime, in front of anyone.

      Well, not all Disney is brighter. It depends on the character. Ariel, the little mermaid, is a brighter. :)

    For me this is one of the most important videos in Victoria´s playlist. A huge eyeopener. I was a "teethsinger", especially with the vocals ay and ee. To my great surprise it was possible to sing ay and ee with the same embouchure like aa!. Wow, it helped me so much. My vocal color improved - far from being perfect, but it instantly improved. A quick fix I would say. Thank you Victoria!

    I needed to hear this. I make music for a living. So everyday it’s music and almost everyday singing. For years I’ll go for so long everything going just nicely then I wake up one day and oh ok I guess we’re starting from scratch because nothing is working. So I focus on this front bs and then it’s a couple of weeks of going down a rabbit hole. Since I found you the rabbit hole dosnt last as long 😉. I’ll even take time off to rest usually about a week or so. But still get these episodes and I’ve been singing for almost as long as you’ve been teaching. Still not sure if it’s in my head or I need more time off less time off. Sometimes to frustrating. So newbies it dosnt go away u just sound better lol

    So as far as the vowel coloring and the mouth shape widening/thinning, can widening it for color "pull chest" if used in the higher register?

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 месяца назад +1

      Widening the mouth will change the vocal color but has nothing to do with chest vs. head voice. You can do it in either!

    Thanks for sharing how to sing the 5 pure vowel sounds Ee Eh Ah Oh Oo 15 exercises aligned with colours (darker or brighter) varying the posture of the mouth, position of the tongue and raising of soft palates. I have a question in singing, do we still sing the rest of the 12 vowels like the front, middle and back vowels taught by some vocal teachers? (There are also some books that teaches it).

    • @Victoria-Victorious

    My biggest problem is the 'ae' dipthong, or the English 'i'I' sound. It often comes across very throaty.

      @@Victoria-Victorious thanks to you my singing has improved dramatically. I've been looking at your videos on vowels and still haven't seen anything on the "ae" dipthong. Thank you. You are the singing technique God.

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  3 месяца назад

      Okay, ‘ae’ in the International Phonetic Alphabet is pronounced like “AAAH” in “cat”. I have a video on that sound. I believe you are asking about /eɪ/, which IS a diphthong, pronounced like “day”. I have 3 short videos in that vowel playlist on diphthongs (and triphthongs) that should help. I demonstrate with “AY”. You might also watch my video on EH and EE.

      @@Victoria-Victorious Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I speak Spanish, in Spanish the English "I" sound does not have a letter to represent it. It is a dipthong of "ahhee" ..."ai" en español. I've complicated this too much. I'm sorry. I was just looking for an exercise for my English "I" sound.

    Victoria, I find with my singing that the last word in a phrase falls apart - no resonance, support, it sounds shaky and wobbly. Is this common with students? Is it all breath support?

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  3 месяца назад +2

      I have lots of videos on this and have a playlist on that exact subject. You can start here: How to Hold a Note When Singing - MORE STABLE AND EXCITING LONG NOTES! ruclips.net/video/ucZ9pTyNwzY/видео.html

    • @kralvltavin9173
      @kralvltavin9173 3 месяца назад

      Remember to follow through. Mentally, you think of the end of the line as the END, so you start preparing for landing and that's likely why it's falling apart. But if you can program your mind that the end is a few counts AFTER the end of the line and shoot for that, you'll hold it.
      Follow through.

    • @kralvltavin9173
      @kralvltavin9173 3 месяца назад

      It could also be that you aren't singing on the vowels of the last word. Just to give an example: say the ending word is "night", you'd sing the long I sound as the diphthong "ah-ee" holding on the ah part to a quick ee, landing on the final t sound, mentally aiming a few counts for AFTER the final t to make a full stop and stick the landing on t. Carry the vowel sound to a quick hard stop on the final consonant sound, and stick it.
      You can visualize the end of your line as like the end of a gymnastic routine. You need to "stick the landing" which requires just a hair more focus beyond the landing.
