She is also a fender signature artist for the ukulele they made two ukuleles in her name. Her songs are used in TV shows commercials and movies grace is also the star of the Disney + movie stargirl and wrote the song today and tomorrow while filming the movie.
If you follow this up with the other 3 videos from AGT you'll see that they are really impressed by is her song writing. Howie states that all the music industry people were calling him during the summer of 2016 asking about her and Mel B confirmed that was happening. 4 originals songs for the show and she had 3 other songs that a lot of fans agree could have been sung on the show. On the last show in the finals they had her sing this song again but if they would have allowed her to introduce another song "Miss You" I think there would have been and even bigger fervor for her after the show

Great reaction, I stumble over my tongue often enough to sympathize with you. Grace is the best singer, songwriter and performer I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. She has a depth that is hard to fathom. I actually went to an Imagine Dragon concert in 2018 because she opened for them at the age of 14. Looking forward to more reactions to Grace. Thanks!
Nice reaction. This is one of the most unlikely surprises in any of the talent shows. Most people auditioning on these shows have been performing for a while. In Grace's case, she had used her own money to buy a ukelele after her parents wouldn't do it because they didn't think she would stick with it. Grace learned to play by watching lesson videos on RUclips. She uploaded covers onto RUclips and she made a handful of appearances at open mic night at a local coffee house in front of 20 or so people. Her mother encouraged her to apply to the show and while I've never heard them saying this, I think they were just hoping to get some expert opinion as to how good Grace was. I think they were blown away by the Golden Buzzer. The moment walking off stage where Grace stops and shakes her head in disbelief is one of my favorite moments on any of these talent shows. I've seen a local news story where one of Grace's teachers described how shocked they and the other teachers were to see Grace's performance because they had never seen her sing at school. She was in the school band (playing the saxophone I think) but didn't seem very different from the other band members.
AND SHE IS STILL MOTIVATED! Very much so in fact, but you know what slows down everybody currently.. That performance caused an instant buzz around the globe acctually! Yeah, the look on her face leaving the stage is something like 'DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN?!?' Unbelievable! Just think, it's been a few years since then so she has improved over this performance and done a tour already. She still performs but she wants to get through school first before she really gets HUGE. She even has a couple of albums out. We are just WAITING for her to get out here and do her thing. I love the way Simon goes from bored and disinterested to amazed . She changed the AGT game...before Grace singers sand covers....now when you watch it they are singing originals. It's so great to see an insightful reactor such as yourself discover Grace for the first time and be drawn into her journey. There's not much I can add to what's already been said. I've listened to and loved everything Grace had put out from her pre-AGT home videos to her Covid Treehouse concerts to the Instagram live chats from her dorm room. And of course I've bought all her albums, and even drove 5 hours each way to see her open for Imagine Dragons. (And I'm definitely not ID's target demographic.) I've had to wait and watch her talent develop for 4 years. Through the miracle of RUclips you can do it in a matter of weeks.

I was hooked with this performance but the kicker for me was her original '12 Stars', unfortunately too dark for performances. Good reaction. Well she was on the edge of being famous in 2018 with a great album released in Nov 2017 but they didn't promote it and some of the songs on the album were better than the singles they released. There are all sorts of theories about their reasons for keeping her career on low key right now and she's trying to finish from High School. Over the last 3 years Grace has been quietly releasing new songs and has gained a lot of popularity. Grace has picked up a lot of Taylor, Eilish and Ariana fans and it's just a matter of time before they lose control over one of her songs and she is big whether they want it or not. Other teen singers from Europe are being promoted like crazy with no real success Grace has really done nothing except quietly releasing new songs over the last 3 years. Okay i spent a little time looking at your list of uploads. Looks like a good mix. Aurora, Twenty One Pilots, etc. so I'll give you a boost to 10K, Subscribed. Howie not letting anyone else speak: yes, the judges have one golden buzzer each season and it's a competition among them to form quick accurate judgments and claim the eventual winner. How helpful Simon's support will be, but what a burden to survive the coming professional challenges while trying to survive high school at the same time. And you noticed the special bond with her sister, Olivia: if you follow her journey the next song you will hear, in the AGT quarter-finals, is Grace trying to express what that relationship means to her. Great reaction, I stumble over my tongue often enough to sympathize with you. Grace is the best singer, songwriter and performer I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. She has a depth that is hard to fathom. I actually went to an Imagine Dragon concert in 2018 because she opened for them at the age of 14. Looking forward to more reactions to Grace. Thanks!
Nice reaction. This is one of the most unlikely surprises in any of the talent shows. Most people auditioning on these shows have been performing for a while. In Grace's case, she had used her own money to buy a ukelele after her parents wouldn't do it because they didn't think she would stick with it. Grace learned to play by watching lesson videos on RUclips. She uploaded covers onto RUclips and she made a handful of appearances at open mic night at a local coffee house in front of 20 or so people. Her mother encouraged her to apply to the show and while I've never heard them saying this, I think they were just hoping to get some expert opinion as to how good Grace was. I think they were blown away by the Golden Buzzer. The moment walking off stage where Grace stops and shakes her head in disbelief is one of my favorite moments on any of these talent shows. I've seen a local news story where one of Grace's teachers described how shocked they and the other teachers were to see Grace's performance because they had never seen her sing at school. She was in the school band (playing the saxophone I think) but didn't seem very different from the other band members.
Her stopping to take it in as she walks off the stage was what told me she’s unique and special

Yeah, the look on her face leaving the stage is something like 'DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN?!?' Unbelievable! Just think, it's been a few years since then so she has improved over this performance and done a tour already. She still performs but she wants to get through school first before she really gets HUGE. She even has a couple of albums out. We are just WAITING for her to get out here and do her thing. PLUS, she's a really humble sweetheart! Nobody deserves the praise more than Grace does. PLEASE check out the rest of her AGT journey (and beyond that). Grace's journey is just remarkable, can't say enough about her. I truly believe that when her career is finished, she'll be considered one of the best singer/songwriters of all time.

That is her sister....watch the other three AGTs and see the song she wrote for her sister....amazing. Used in a Windex commercial and won and award.

She's an incredible songwriter and you must check out her newer music. She's grown into a very accomplished musician. Even this covid thing has not really slowed her down although it stopped her new album, Letters Volume 2, from coming to fruition. Please keep on with some more reactions to her. It's so great to see an insightful reactor such as yourself discover Grace for the first time and be drawn into her journey.
There's not much I can add to what's already been said. I've listened to and loved everything Grace had put out from her pre-AGT home videos to her Covid Treehouse concerts to the Instagram live chats from her dorm room. And of course I've bought all her albums, and even drove 5 hours each way to see her open for Imagine Dragons. (And I'm definitely not ID's target demographic.) I've had to wait and watch her talent develop for 4 years. Through the miracle of RUclips you can do it in a matter of weeks.
Another reactor I watch, Fable Nuclear Reactor, mostly did rap and hip-hop. Then he discovered Grace and is totally and incurably hooked.
You talked about her going on stage in front of all those people. The two acts before her got four "X's". Just imagine the courage.
If you go down the Grace rabbit hole, you will find at the bottom the most important singer-songwriter of this generation.

I was hooked with this performance but the kicker for me was her original '12 Stars', unfortunately too dark for performances.
Her cover of Christina Perri's 'Jar of Hearts' in the same time frame as AGT really showed that not only was she a great songwriter but had real singing chops and could make a cover hers.

Good reaction. Well she was on the edge of being famous in 2018 with a great album released in Nov 2017 but they didn't promote it and some of the songs on the album were better than the singles they released. There are all sorts of theories about their reasons for keeping her career on low key right now and she's trying to finish from High School. Over the last 3 years Grace has been quietly releasing new songs and has gained a lot of popularity. Grace has picked up a lot of Taylor, Eilish and Ariana fans and it's just a matter of time before they lose control over one of her songs and she is big whether they want it or not. Other teen singers from Europe are being promoted like crazy with no real success Grace has really done nothing except quietly releasing new songs over the last 3 years.
