@@stephenfricke9298 congratulations on the ownership of ducati scrambler...yes with little bit of effort, you can change the colour.. it feels very light weight and nimble and have all the bells and whistles you get on modern motorcycle...ride safe.
Thank you very much for checking the video. I could not get a full throttle to review as promised earlier. But I thought, sharing all the positives and negatives will help potential buyers to consider making a buying or avoiding decision. Hope to get full throttle soon.
Wanted to get some advise as looking at these scramblers thinking the Full Throttle may be to more practical one all round compared to the nightshift but was also looking at the 1100 tribute in the lovely yellow as I understand they are not going to produce anymore 1100
@@ul5360 all the Ducati scramblers are essentially the same. Aesthetically, there are some differences between the models.. the only functional difference is quick shifter, and sump guard which comes in as standard on full throttle.. but full throttle have a more sportier riding position compared to icon.. night shift is more on looks factor with spoked wheels, paint job, etc.. if you are not planning to take it off road extensively , you don’t have to consider Icon.. full throttle and night can handle occasional mild off-road. 1100 as you said I am not sure they are going to make.. my recommendation is to test tide all 3 models and pick up the one which you feel more at home on riding position.. every other thing can be added on.. if I have to choose, I will pick icon, add quick shifter, sump guard. So I can ride it on road and off road as I please.. hope you get your dream ride soon..
Riding in tropical climate is no problem. I am in malaysia and its as tropical as it gets compared to most part of the world. As long as the bike is moving, its ok, you will not feel heat on the move. If the bike is stationary, you will feel the heat coming from the engine. In slow moving traffic, its also ok. But if you move a little bit then you stop, then move a bit and then stop, you will feel the heat coming from the engine. If you constantly on the move, even if slowly its still ok. Hope it helps. Please make sure to test ride the motorcycle, before you buy..
Your review is nice I am Karthik from India. Previously I am having Ducati Scrambler icon-2019 for some heating issues while in slow moving but suddenly I sold and buying BMW C400GT maxi scooter. Upon checking Ducati has launched Scrambler icon 2G with lots of features then I again thinking to buying one. Telling my friends and family I am doing mistake by selling my old scrambler but new scrambler is very much fantastic.
Bought 1 in June. 500 so far, love it. Icon and you can change the color!
Affordable, fun, responsive, FUN, torquey, and very manuvable!

Thanks for the review. What about engine heat in bumper to bumper traffic? And in general riding in tropical climate?
