Frank Lampard had an entire tennis court of space on the field to himself to look up and just punt it up to Didier Drogba, Had the other black defender stood closer to him Frank probably would not have punt so far up to him two to one on, The defender has done okay, He put him on for a left foot shot, But he is too tight, Didier Drogba has really taken the desperate option just to five a side blast it and has hit it in seemingly only place to score, If he was to try again he would waste fifty chances
@@xmoroseguyx drogba scored quite a similar goal against liverpool. To say he will only score one out of 50 attempts like that is an ignorant and clueless thing to say. You clearly dont know drogba. It really wasnt the fault of the defender who marked drogba, but drogba was just that good

I love my blues. 💙💙💙I became a Chelsea fan since 2018 and gotten into more European football. Happy we won the Europa League final, Drogba is a great legend, hopefully we win FA Cup once more, I'm an Arizona native and a Phoenix Rising fan since 2018 as well , Drogba came to Phoenix and helped my team to try to get promoted to MLS from USL, we made the final but lost that year, and after that, Drogba retired that year

Ooh and Iva's 2 headed goals against Liverpool in 2009 Quarter finals when we were behind 1-0 at Anfield. His two goals on that night helped us prevail to the semis against a stubborn Liverpool 7-5 on aggregate. That was the year we played against Uefalona and Ovrebo in the semifinals remember?

Then came the rumours that Redknapp will become coach of England. And (for me personally) give the birth of the nickname "bottlers".
They gave away the FA's semi. Got into the top 4 to be able to play in CL in the next season, but the lady luck hate them. Chelsea on 6 came out of nowhere to win the Champions League, which automatically kick out Tottenham for next year CL

Man after Drogba left the one thing close to a lethal striker that we had was Costa. Absolutely loved that guy too. But since then we've lacked a striker that can bully defenders

A rare honest Chelsea fan....although even if anyone wanted to deny it they have no leg to stand on. Martin Atkinson who already helped Chelsea many times before this game has been allowed to officiate FIVE Chelsea cup semi-finals in less than 10 years from FAcup SF 2009 to LeagueCup SF 2nd leg at Stamford bridge 2019.
All of which Chelsea "won". 3 of which vs the same opponent Spurs.
Name another team who could have the same ref in the same occasion more than once if he had a bad performance in just 1 of the games without huge uproar about it??
Chelsea constantly get away with murder and then play on the few games they felt robbed I.e still talking about CL SF 2nd leg 2008/09 vs Barca 13 seasons ago. Oh look at this we are unlucky team....not fooling me. Literally luckiest team in club football.

#11 was a one man wreaking machine. That goal was special, Chelsea haven't had a striker, at that level sense.

Carl Johnson I still can’t understand how Lampard is even compared to Gerrard. Gerrard was a great captain and won silverware but what else?
Lampard on the other hand, became our record goalscorer from MIDFIELD, won 3 league titles (something which Gerrard didn’t do) and came runner up in the 2005 Ballon d’or. There is no question that Lampard is better than Gerrard for me.
