the way they all so casually passed Karina's "I don't like the way he mates toes" comment is really a testament to the show's maturity and refined humour. Only the coolest and smartest things, indeed.
The fact that Nathan was silent while working, only to use "Yo Weebidy Sam" as an example of one of Jacob's really smart, cool things is what sells that entire joke
the worst part of the applebees platter bit is that right after i watched the video i went to applebees, saw the platter on the menu, and viscerally understood what julia was trying to say

These are all such hilarious bits but I swear "Father Gaga" takes me out every time 😭 The way everyone reacts & Nathan explains that Julia wasn't feeling well, with the implication that she would've just continued saying nonsense without explanation??? Poetic cinema
losing my mind over the fact that evolution and human history progressed in JUST such a way that "yoweebity sam" makes sense and is funny. life is magical
It’s funny that people think of Julia as a wild queen of random jokes, and not as an actual genius. She’d probably never admit it herself but she’s insanely smart. She manages all of Drawfee’s secretarial duties, occasionally edits episodes, she’s the best artist in the gang, she’s funny, she freaking taught herself Blender for one episode, and in her spare time she builds watches. 😳 It would take me three lifetimes to build up the knowledge base she has, and I’m older than her.
The thing that makes the Jimin bit funny to me is they practically made a reference without knowing, there's a soloist who shares the name but goes by Jamie and she had a podcast called "What would Jamie do" a while back.
I just cant get enough of these compilations, theyre so good! (just a little tip for glorious compilation you make: get a less harsh sound between the bits, this one got a nasty high tone to it. Or just make it a bit more silent. Just white noise will do. Thanks!)
yeah, i tried to find the softest one i could, and turned the volume on it way down, but i still wasn't sure about it either. thanks for the feedback, i'll take it into account next time! i hope you have a lovely day
I read the description and wanted to add something. As someone who's only listening to this its nice to know when there is a transition between bits or between videos. The static could be a tiny bit quieter, but for my own listening experience it wasn't terrible (though I do understand how some ppl are more sensitive to certain sounds, have sensitive hearing, etc.)
@@rowanravenwood Lenore is absolutely correct, and now I would like to know if it's okay with you if I name an NPC in my campaign after you. If not, no worries! 👍🏻
yeah, i tried to do that, but i also still found it a bit harsh, so i wasn't sure about it myself. thanks for the feedback! i'll change it up for future videos. i hope you have a great day/night :]
@@rowanravenwood IMO the main problem is there are a lot of really piercing high frequencies in the transition, heading into screechy-styrofoam territory. They're pretty much going to hurt at any volume. Getting rid of those would help immensely. :)
@@andrewfleenor7459 ah, i see. i think the headphones i used to edit this weren't conveying how sharp it was, because listening again with my better headphones, i really see what people mean. i'll put a volume warning in the title and description if that'll help, but i'm not really sure of any way to edit it after the fact now that it's uploaded. my bad, i'll do better in the future!
Idk why but I just had a sudden flash of a video of Nathan’s Seattle queso story at 1:05 but it’s base-boosted/under water distorted or just with a weird audio effect like in the ghost beef video.
my favorite part of this video is when you skipped back in one video to get all the context needed for the clip to make sense and then chose not to edit it out
as i've said before, this is called a "mistake". most humans make them. if you'd read the video description, you'd know that i'm well aware of this mistake. please note: if, in fact, you didn't intend to come off as a snarky ass, and this comment was a harmless joke, i apologize for my sarcasm. however, this kind of comment is quite frustrating when i have acknowledged it multiple times.
one of these points is completely subjective, and the other is a simple editing mistake which, if you'd read the description, you'd know that I'm well aware of. it's okay if you want to offer criticism, but please try to make it more constructive next time.

Great example of Nathan agreeing with whatever Karina says (probably because he doesn't want to argue)
"you get like four wings on that thing"
Sometimes Julia says something so viscerally unpredictable the only possible reaction is hard laughter

I mean Julia is incredibly competent for sure but the simple fact that she works incredibly hard accounts for some of it, not just talent but effort
I've always gotten the impression it's more a matter of everyone having talked about it already and just takes it for granted now. :)
