Absolutely unique and lovely watch!!!. But I need to be honest here: I would never use tweezers on any hands as they might just scratch the hands or even worse the dial. But as you forgot the washer I assume this is your first GMT/NH34.
Agree, metal tweezers are a risky tool, but once you "master" using them, it's pretty comfortable. And yeah, I did scratch some hands before.. Thinking about brass tweezers instead
@peteygnyc thanks for the suggestion, I will check it right now. Normally, I use tweezers with plastic tips. And yes, I can make for you the exact one any time😊🙏
greetings very well explained. my warm recommendations for review. my question: where can you buy that whole kit and how much does it cost. thanks in advance
@sman222222 it's a 3 piece case. First, you install the movement in the middle part, cover it by a top glass part, then turn it upside down and close the caseback using screws. The screws hold 3 pieces together
Case style is really nice! did you get it from Ali? I've been trying to find a similar one for a mod i'm doing but I can't seem to find the exact case.
@derekmanki1582 uh, yes! I made a couple of mods, and every time, I needed a small adjustment. Go 15mm first, and from there, keep trying and sanding the stem until you get that perfect fit
I ordered it from a local website, it won't be available for you. But there are also the same parts on Aliexpress. Search 39mm GS case and 31mm GS dial You will see it there

You should disassembly it completely once again, to remove the dial washer from crown tube and put it under the dial! LOL😂
Please, don't remind me...😵💫
This is the first video on youtube to feature a GS mod!!! Loved it 3000 ❤
Please post some more GS mods !!!😊😊😊
@shekharshetye2051 haha, thanks! I posted a lot on my insta, you should check it out😉 @mod4thai
Sorry, but the washer (which in fact is a cup spring) has to go under the dial. It secures, that the 24h gear stays in place.
And why would they make it the same diameter as that thing I put it on..🥲🥲🤣
Thank you for telling me, now I remember I've seen it before under the dial, like you said
@@ShortBetter easy. They do this to keep us confused and busy ...
Is the stem easy to replace with the case back off? I need to make this watch
@jimsound7888 the same process as any other NH35 watch. No problems 😊
Amazing, this is the next one I order from you, we will have to come up with something custom tho
Will be waiting :)

Indeed, it was my first GMT mod and I didn't know what that thing was :D
@@ShortBetter You need ceramic tweezers...they don't scratch at all. LOVE this watch. I might ask you to make me the exact same one.
@peteygnyc thanks for the suggestion, I will check it right now. Normally, I use tweezers with plastic tips. And yes, I can make for you the exact one any time😊🙏

very well explained.
my warm recommendations for review.

Wonderful job mate.. Look absolutely great.. 😊 Thanks for the video.
Thanks!😊😊
is that double dome glass?
La Junta que colocas donde la rosca de la corona no va entre el dial y el movimiento nh34? 🤔
I did not notice but did you just press on the front/top piece to the case or is it held on by the screws on the back?
@sman222222 it's a 3 piece case. First, you install the movement in the middle part, cover it by a top glass part, then turn it upside down and close the caseback using screws. The screws hold 3 pieces together

Yes, this case is available on different websites. Search on Ali "GS case NH34"
Absolutely gorgeous!!! May I know the lug width & lug to lug width?
19mm strap size and only 47mm L2L😊
where did you find the grand seiko dial?
@@thedevilgamer6505 online
@thedevilgamer6505 Ali might have it too
good job and also a very nice watch
@@override39 thank you😊
Would you mind sharing what the final length of the stem was ? Thanks !
Hi! I thought I said in the video, no? I don't remember now😅
I think you said 14.6-14.9 but when you did the final assembly you had said it needs more adjustment ?
@derekmanki1582 uh, yes! I made a couple of mods, and every time, I needed a small adjustment. Go 15mm first, and from there, keep trying and sanding the stem until you get that perfect fit
Thanks so much ! And love the video , very helpful and thanks for sharing !
@derekmanki1582 thank you 😊😊
hi
can you had were to order the parts
thanks
I ordered it from a local website, it won't be available for you. But there are also the same parts on Aliexpress. Search 39mm GS case and 31mm GS dial

@@ShortBetter thanks
Love this mod! I would like to order one. I have contacted you through Facebook as I do not use Instagram
Thanks! I messaged you already 😊
Where did you get the dial? Do you have a link for it?
I got it from a local website. But there should be some dials on Ali as well
What’s your case mm? And is it AR coated?
39mm, and it has bluwish coating. I don't know if it's AR, because it's a mineral glass
@@ShortBettercan i have the link for the case & glass?
Yo pondria una aguja GMT mas pequeña acorde a los marcadores del dial, esa es demasiado larga para ese modelo de GMT.
Where is this case from ? Share link please.
Got it from a local website, no links, sorry. Type in Aliexpress search: GS nh34 case, you will find it
What a pity that those dials are not available anywhere.. btw.. the dial clip.... but you already know that..
Where did you buy the grand seiko dial?
Local website, but you can find it on Aliexpress, too. Just use the image search by phone
wish have this
You can order it😁
Did you fit a dial washer under the dial?
I did. The second time I made it😁
The little metal curved washer belongs under the dial on a NH-34 GMT to give space for the GMT gears not to rub.
Yeah, I didn't know about it when modded my first GMT :D
@@ShortBetterAny time you have a question about modding let me know. I do a lot of modding especially Seiko.
Order this mod from my website here - www.mod4thai.com/gs
Don't worry, I have built 3 nh34 mods and have 2 spare washers. All keep good time.
Thanks for letting me know, I feel better now 😄😄
