I love Toby’s sweater and chuckled at his observation about the sweater ratio 😂 also I love Lucy as all of the things that encompass the name, I have a daughter named Lucy ❤ her favorite thing about her name is currently Peanuts and the “Listen to Lucy” song they sing. I am currently reading the second Anne book and would love to read Emily. A great book to read for that “building a house” segment to check out is Building Our House by Jonathan Bean, he also wrote This Is My School and it’s a book about his homeschool, I love it and can so relate with his observations 😂 Also I’ve heard two strands of fingering can be DK as well as worsted, I think it comes down to the wraps per inch 🤷🏻♀️
You have such fun WIPs and cast on ideas that it is inspiring me to cast on more! I also have 5 kids and my current goal is to have something knitted for each one's Easter basket, so I'm trying to stay focused on that. But it is fun to dream up the next project!
Stay focused! (It’s so hard 😁) It’s always a challenge to keep up with knitting for all the kids, but at the same time, I’m so thankful to have kids to knit for! You’ll have to give me an update on your Easter knitting progress!
@@mysterymouseknitting4721 I will keep you updated. Most of them will be getting a pair of worsted weight socks. However, my two oldest definitely have " man size" feet, so they won't be super fast to knit. I'm going to try to keep focused by thinking about how fun it will be to give them all their socks on Easter morning!
Hi Holly! Great episode! You are so brave with your knitting!! I’m not adventurous enough to make my own patterns…..I’m really just getting comfortable enough to do modifications on my own. Your children will love the things you are making for them! I just finished my Fosette crop and a pair of socks. My goal is to finish up some wips in between new cast ons. So, I’m currently working on the Coffee Break shawl that I started back on the fall. I’m really enjoying it and am thinking about making another using your retreat colorway with some of the minis I got from you for a spring/summer version. I also want to make the Leftie shawl and a Ranunculus. In between knitting, I’m making a couple of baby quilts…..one for my new grandson and one for my nephew’s baby. Lots of projects!!!!!
I'm sorry Grady has been sick! 😔 Poor baby. You're right, it's always so much harder with little ones because they just can't tell you exactly what is wrong! I'm glad he's doing better now. ❤ I love all your project plans! Would Teddy wear a vest/slipover? Then you wouldn't have to worry about sleeves! 😝 I am the same way about thrift stores and book shopping. I almost never come away without buying at least one book. 😁 I'm actually trying to make my way through the Anne of Green Gables series this year since I've never gotten around to it. And I have a couple other L. M. Montgomery books I want to read too. One of which is Emily of New Moon. I think your Jessica Fletcher colorway is STUNNING! 😍😍 I am imagining it as a contrast color in a sweater with a neutral background so it really pops which would look amazing. I haven't actually read or watched any of the Murder She Wrote series, so I may need to take a look at them. Per usual, all your colorways are beautiful! I'm excited to see the other sock sets and mini skein set. Thank you so much for another wonderful episode! 🥰
Thank you, Emily! Grady is all better now and running around the house like a maniac 🙂 (there really is no in-between with little kids, they are either up or down). Your idea for a vest for Teddy is genius! He is 14 and at that age when he’s “finding his personal style,” which seems to include a lot of collared shirts. I also should read through the Anne of Green Gables books this year-do you want to do a (very casual) read-a-long? That would probably help me to focus and actually get through them. And you HAVE to watch Murder, She Wrote! It’s 80’s TV at it’s best. (And 12 seasons!) It’s available on FreeVee through Amazon Prime. Hugs for Tam 💕
@@mysterymouseknitting4721 One of my younger brothers is like that too! He loves his collared shirts and bow ties. 😁 I would love to do a read-a-long! I could definitely use the focus assistance too. I started Anne of Green Gables last year about this time and only just finished it last week. 🙄🤦🏼♀ I just kept putting it down! But I'm determined to get through the series this year. I've heard such wonderful things about it! I've read the first couple of chapters of Anne of Avonlea, so only just started that one. I've been watching a bunch of Murder She Wrote! 😍You're so right, it's just amazing! I think I've already made it through 4 or 5 episodes, which, with a baby, is pretty impressive for me. 😁 I can't wait to watch more!!

Thank you! Lucy is a great name 💕 I will check out those books for sure!
Toby’s chain mail sweater looks great!
Thanks! It is a labor of love ❤️😅
I’m patiently waiting over here for your Hepburn cast on ☺️ The tea bag project bag is so cute. I never see cute fabric like that.
😁 I’m looking forward to that cast on too!
Oh it is going to be hard to decide what to get!! The socks I knit from the Lilac Inn sock set are so cute.
Thanks Laura! 😁🕵🏻♀️🐭🧶💕
Hope the baby is better. All of our hobbies like knitting and gardening bring us joy and stress relief
He is all better (thank the Lord 😊)! I know what you mean-I’m so thankful for these simple but productive hobbies! 🕵🏻♀️🐭🧶🧶💕
