“LIVE IN LONDON”
ON FEBRUARY 20, 2015 ON earMUSIC
H.E.A.T is one of those bands which you need to see live on stage. Armed with a reputation of a brilliant live act, Sweden’s rock sensation is always in to deliver a truly energetic and passionate show. “Live In London” is the band’s first ever live release and truly captures the band at their best.
Mainly recorded at The Garage in London on May 16, 2014 during their first ever European headline tour, “Live In London” is going to be released on February 20, 2015 on earMUSIC.
Mixed by Grammy award winning producer Tobias Lindell, the live album includes 15 powerful hymns. Front man Erik Grönwall knows how to seduce the audience with his powerful crisp clear voice and his boundless, hyperactive stage persona which makes the audience go crazy.
The band - Eric Rivers (guitar), Jona Tee (keyboards), Jimmy Jay (bass) and Crash (drums) - join in with a sheer force of energy and fully indulge themselves into the music. The on point performance includes all the band’s classics, from the melodious “1000 Miles” to the catchy “It’s All About Tonight” and “Breaking The Silence” as well as their most recent smashes “A Shot At Redempetion” and “Mannequin Show” - to all of which the audience passionately sings along.

In 2009, H.E.A.T had a huge hit in Scandinavia with the song “1000 Miles” which was followed by a nomination as one of the Top 50 albums in 2010 by Classic Rock Magazine UK for the band’s second album “Freedom Rock”. Their third studio album “Address The Nation” was praised by media worldwide as one of the best album’s in 2012 and consolidated the band’s reputation as the new leading band in hard edged melodic rock. “Tearing Down The Walls”, their celebrated fourth studio album, continued on the road to success on which H.E.A.T provided their fans with phenomenal songs and the band’s historic sound - Metal Hammer UK certified that the album included hit after hit whereas Classic Rock Germany named H.E.A.T one of the best bands from Sweden.
All during the band’s history, H.E.A.T have been touring all over the world, winning the whole of Europe over with their powerful live performances.
A band that went on tour with Toto right after they started, that went Top 10 in Sweden with their debut album and supported Alice Cooper as well as Scorpions definitely got something right.

I discovered the hard rock scene over in Sweden years ago. Hellacopers, Backyard Babies, Hardcore Superstar, Spiders and many others. Bands from there never fail to deliver ultra high quality hard rock music with attitude, style, truly authentic and from the heart.
That being said, H.E.A.T. are just simply amazing! I followed them throughout the years with all the personnel changes. this current lineup is simply outstanding. This song in particular is just at the point of meltdown. What an awesome song, along with all the songs from this album.
The vocals of Erik Gronwall are just mind blowing. I sometimes get a Sebastian Bach vibe from him...like a distant relative. I mean that as the highest praise. The guy just has some killer chops and delivers vocals with serious heart and passion. Just wow!
Much success and fortune to H.E.A.T. You guys so deserve it. Thank you for this awesome gift of music! Peace! :)
