I’ve heard several episodes of Strictly Stalking and the stories are pretty scary. I’ve been the victim of stalking and I firmly believe that stalking should be a crime everywhere. However, and at the risk of being accused of victim shaming, I have to say that many people have to wake up to the fact that a lot of people are deeply troubled and exchanging messages for a couple of weeks is not the same as getting to know someone over time. I’ve heard some episodes where women and men “hook up” on the second date with people they don’t know and many times don’t know their last names. They willingly divulge personal things about themselves and even share nude pictures. And then they’re surprised that people are jerks and manipulate and scare them? My point is that the law and law enforcement are no replacement for good judgement. I certainly fell into that trap. It also feels that SOME of the guests are using the podcast to make themselves famous. And don’t get me started on the vocal fry of the female host and many guests. In short, I think this podcast is effective at making stalking more real for people who’ve never experienced it but,for the reasons I’ve listed, I won’t listen to any more
I blame some of the victims. Listened to many of the videos of them, some even make their own father a stalker just for publicity. Then everyone says "what a strong women"... 🤦🏼♂️ But this era/zeitgeist is f'ed up anyways. Victims everywhere, can't see anyone but victims. Best living conditions ever but everyone is a victim. ☕;)

Total victim blaming. And you say you are a victim.
@@ivydickson7596 useless comment. You can disagree but nobody has the right to be rude. Go away
