It’s sad. It actually looks like a good game. As a long time diablo fan I was excited about this game. But since Blizzard doubled down against what the gaming community wants, and went with a battle pass. I’ll just watch ppl play it bc I’m not giving a dollar to Blizzard for this game.
same here. i was about to buy the game but luckily the ps store showed all of these in game currency bundles before i put my card in....i really dont like where these game companies have decided go with regularly releasing unfinished games and having microtransactions. just disappointment after disappointment in my experience
I thought the whole point of games going from $60 to $70 was so that they could fully fund a complete experience. Why are they double dipping with $70 + planned expansions + Battle passes + DLC + premium currencies. They want their cake and to eat it too.
You're delusional if you think that was ever the reason they raised prices in the first place. Which I know you're not. So, you know, I know, we all know, what this is really about. It's unnecessary garbage that cheapens the experience and exploits customers for greed.
Looking over the items and prices, I don't see myself spending any more on the game, outside of the seasonal battle passes. What are your thoughts on the game's microtransactions and cash shop?
Simple, corporate greed, look up the cost to make these sets and time you wont believe how easiy it is for then to make money back. Also notice how they went with the in-game currency route. This provides them with two ways to scum over people. 1, you can never buy anything for the price that's offered (800? You need to buy the 10$ pack) and then you have a fake currency which can make you think its not as much as you are spending (alot easier to spend 800 gems then hitting the same button to spend 8$).
@thepowderdtoa5tman I don't think at the core battle passes are a bad thing, I feel they need some adjustments to work better for the consumer. I don't like these "micro" transactions. My personal idea is not buying anything from shop. But ill buy the battlepasses if I feel I can play enough for the season to complete it.
Remember when cool rare drops in games were a thing? You just bought the game, and it was yours to do with as you pleased. Your world. Your choice. Not a $90 payment for proof for usage.
So just to verify before i take the plunge and drop $70 on D4, there is no pay to win implemented at all yet right? Even the battlepass is just cosmetic unlocks correct?
Think they will walk it back on there not being pay to win, once they got players hooked like they been adding tokens to WoW classic after saying they wouldn't, think now the cat is out of the box on what they "could" earn from Diablo immortal there I think is no way the greedy suits are not going to push the possibilities to the limit here.
I hate transmog and wish they'd never added that feature. You used to be able to tell what someone had on. Now they could be wearing anything, and the way things look doesn't matter at all (not that it ever really did, I know) because it could be anything.
I kinda see what you're saying. I'm not mad at a game giving people customization choices if it helps them better immerse themselves in their character. For me, personally, it's only when it gets to a point where it breaks *my* immersion and you've got barbarians running around in underwear and clown makeup that it would be too much.
@@teuton6821 I really don’t think it’s so much an issue as it is a preference, I don’t like it because I see no need for it sometimes, if I want to look different, I’ll just use different stuff.
2800 for 25 what a bloody scam, it is illegal microtransaction and lootboxes, I ask for full refund today and got money back good everyone with your money you going to to play 😂 😂 😂
It's cosmetic only and doesn't affect gameplay. You literally see this sorta thing in every multiplayer game. Even golden oldies like EverQuest have this now. Acting all outraged and refunding is your choice...this stuff is here to stay. Just ignore it, and if you can't, then that's on you.
Lol. “Back in my day”… yeah. When I think micro transaction, that’s 99 cents USD. I get it though. Everyone is trying to squeeze every last cent out of everyone. But just like supply and demand, if no one buys stuff at a certain price, the price will go down. (Of the whole store will go away lol)
Kinda hard because $8 is a Starbucks coffee... so it's not crazy. That being said I feel like micro transactions for art after release should like 95% go to the artists
Disgusting... 12 euro should be dlc with a lot of content. Not 1 measily skin that should be earnable in game after spending 90 euro on the base game. Goodness how gaming has fallen. I blame it on the morons feeding blizzard 2 million dollar every week for diablo immortal.
Those prices are rough.
Yup, those are certainly some microtransactions that don't feel so micro 😂
It's about time we started calling them transactions. They haven't been "micro" in a long time.
This industry standard is extremely frustrating, you know they're just keeping what could be in the actual game and selling it. Absolutely ridiculous
The fuck are you bitching about? It's cosmetics.
As long as people keep spending money on it they will keep putting it on games.

And you are a champ for that. If more ppl took this stance, we could have good games again.

Hard pass

Because todays gamers are literal morons, and will buy anything that is in a cashshop.
You're delusional if you think that was ever the reason they raised prices in the first place.

Suddenly i don't feel like paying full price for a game with content sold separately. I'll just wait for a sale

Exactly. I won’t be spending any money on this game. Makes me sad. But Blizzard needs to change and I won’t be enabling the battlepass lifestyle.

Another thing to keep in mind as well is that if tax isn't included buying 5 of the 200 platinum costs $9.95 but the 1000 platinum costs $9.99.
diablo 4 overwatch monetization
if they seriously monetization this game, THE GAME SHOULD BE A FREE
unacceptable. I never thought I would be skipping a diablo game, but that time has come
Remember when cool rare drops in games were a thing? You just bought the game, and it was yours to do with as you pleased.

Yeah not spending a dollar on stuff there….
They must be trolling with the horse armor.
They better do a lot better with the skins if theyre gonna charge $15+
So just to verify before i take the plunge and drop $70 on D4, there is no pay to win implemented at all yet right? Even the battlepass is just cosmetic unlocks correct?
All paid items are cosmetic only.

25 Euros to look good in the game 🤣.. Is a Free to play game, right?

Yeah I don’t like transmog either, but I can see why it exists
I dont understand the problem with transmogs

Subbed for background music and content of course!
But mainly for the background music. 😅
Diablo 4 Immortal

Megatransactions
thank you for video :D
I’m sorry if you buying cosmetics at launch you are thirsty at least see the endgame armor before buying
No
I dont care if I'm wearing a fucking pink suit, its about the gameplay. Anything p2w is completely unacceptable...
Do we know if seasonal cosmetics will be account wide once unlocked and not just tied to that toon in that season, once the season is over.?
This bullshit would not pass in 2012-2013
FML their cosmetics probably cost more then any future expansion they will release for this game.

At least it's mostly ugly edgy cosmetics except the rogue trophy set giving you a sleeping wolf pup
BRUHHHHHHHHHHH THE GAME ALREADY COSTS 70 STONES. Just sell the expansions this is cringe
D4 is a big no for me. Todays cheap companies will never produce anything close to d2
I would say micro is $5 and under. Realistically $15 and under
Who is this targeted too?
Kids? I dont even know
People with lots of disposable income.
This is for the whales. Its a really small percent of the playerbase.
just seeing this make me not want to play the game
Ew way 2 expensive
Blizz is dead now
Way over price
Just don't buy???
Season passes will be the only thing ill buy in this game
Blizzard fans: 🤡🤡🤡
If you play this crap then you are doing it to yourselves. Play better games
Why buy a game when the micro transactions cost more than the game. Diablo is dead this is Lilith 1 the cash grab. 😂
What a shame, won't be putting a penny towards this game because of this. There will be enough who do to keep this culture going though. Idiots :(
This items are pathetic, poe is so superior in microtransactions, jesus...this is pretty bad.
Why you guys crying. It’s only cosmetic looks only doesn’t give you extra power. You don’t have to buy it
I mean sure path of exile shop is way more expensive than this and I've spent 48$ for a pair of wings. But at least that's a f2p game.
