Western stars back then had to sign a morality clause in their studio contracts, as did most of the movie stars, that they would not do anything in their private lives that would embarrass the studio or ruin their image.

He was raised on an Ohio farm and had a horse named Babe. So he had a little training as to how to ride a horse as opposed to Gene Autry, who was from Texas, and only knew how to sing.
By your title, I thought we were going to find out some deep and dark secret, however this was just a con so you could use your verbal diarrhoea for some RUclips points. A more honest person would have advertised this as 'A complete history of Roy Rogers'. Twenty seven minutes of waiting for some grand reveal - but ther was none!
