Aalong with Pink Flag,& Chairs Missing the LP "154" forms a trio of Wire's first 3 albums. These 3 albums formed the best group of punk, post punk and electric post punk. All are incredible and are finally getting the accolades due them. I saw Wire in 1977 at CBGB and I believe Wire to have the energy of the Ramones along with the intellect of Talking Heads. 154 reminds me of Brian Eno using sounds that are distorted to make music extending the boundaries of the music of their day. Coincidentally I was listening to 154 last night, quite impressive. Best song is "Longitude....Latitude." Their first 3 albums is the best music England had to offer in the late 70's.
Come for the music, stay for the completely random and amusing graphics
Love the graphics
Most difficult of recordings almost always reap a reward! This is one of them.
Chairs Missing actually ruled 1978!
Try being difficult that year. Jim Jones had that all sewn up! Koolaide anyone?
@@craigbeasley1 it was actually grape Flavor Aid. 😊
