As a south american, I like these one on one competitions, it brings a lot of childhood memories when we used to play in the streets like that, It really hones your reflexes, your ball skills and stamina. Good job tico, your channel will bring more awareness and popularity for the sport.
We had the same problem as you in Argentina. In the 1v1 it was really hard to score in this particular conditions. The answer to our questions was to play with a smaller ball. It's harder to defend and to react for the goalkeeper. We use balls of Nº4 size and we call them Papi football (Pelota de papi futbol). Hope you can use them in the next video to make it more entertaining for the technical players!!!
@@Mane_37 idk, it would be more expensive and you would need a bigger camp. Also would be easy to score without 1v1 with the defender and that isn't the objective. Also you need a good goalie with a giant net, making it less accesible and popular. You need to think in street football. Street football needs to be like futsal more than regular football.
@alxs893 I was talking about a bigger goal in America. Everything you said made sense besides the expensive thing. We have soccer fields everywhere, and the fields are free to use. The goals and nets are intact.
Love this new series, I hope you do more of this. Here’s a little feedback that you could think about, if you’re going to play on a small pitch like this may I suggest a smaller goal with no keeper. This is such a fast pace that if the defender is doing his job correctly then it’ll be much tougher to get an accurate shot off in time. But if you play on a bigger pitch then I’d suggest a regular size goal with a keeper so the attacker has more room to create an opportunity to get a decent shot off, and maybe have the defender start behind the 18 and let the attacker run the ball down to get some momentum. Hope this is some positive feedback
I agree. This small pitch is designed for the defender to always win. Especially if the goal is small and there is a goalie. This is way too hard to compare performance/ability/talents If you want good competition. It needs to be on a bigger pitch. Normal size goal and goalie in it.
I think a small pitch is perfectly fine for 1on1, with a small goal without keeper and maybe set a maximum distance for scoring (e.g. attacker has to be inside the box).
Also I don't think you should give points to the defender for a shot on target that was saved. It's difficult to score period, a shot on target should be worth like half a point for the attacker to make it more fair
As a semi pro indoor arena soccer player, if youre doing these 1v1s, unless youre getting freestylers, A full sized goal, meaning 24 feet, and a full sized ball would be better. No matter how good you are at soccer, scoring in a futsal goal isnt the easiest feat in itself. I'd love to be involved in one of these videos though, been following for ages.
you could make it like a different kind of point system. 1 pt for dribbling past the defender and one to get additionally by scoring. First to 5 Pts Wins which means it would still take at least a bo3. If your opponent cant get past you you´d get another point ofc@@leveloneej1858
@@leveloneej1858FR, like the final 1v1 for 5k you just had to get sum distance on the side and aim back post ez. but deestroying wants and needs content aka goals and hes not gonna find it with amateur players but getting pros and freestylers wouldnt be fair if they go againts a common player.
@@leveloneej1858 That's pretty much the reason why soccer is so fun to watch. As a defender its your job to stop the shooter at all costs, or atleast try to deflect or close down angles to make it easier for the keeper to save. A bigger goal is absolutely necessary. They're given 18 yards of space to work with in this video, do you understand you can't even reach a full sprint in that time, especially with a ball at your foot. If you wanna watch defenders get cooked give the attackers more space. I've played soccer my whole life, and as i've said I play semi pro indoor arena. Remember its not american football they cant just turn on a dime without the ball in a full sprint and turn for a catch, soccer is so much more complicated than that.
Yo Dee, I'm stoked you're getting into football now, and I will echo what others are saying that there should be a larger goal and a larger space as well. I'd like to add on that I think it may be more entertaining to have a 2v2 series, as there will be more opportunities to score and 2v2 would enhance the teamwork aspect of these matches. I hope you keep these up!
Dee, thanks for the Top Baller name drop, they have been putting up awesome content. I definitely agree that you need the full-size goal, and wider space. This allows for the players to more easily express themselves and show some crunching tackles. Something that you may benefit from: Top Baller uses multiple camera angles to keep the content dynamic.
Dude I really love and appreciate Dee. He is doing so many things for is fans and even tries out other sport like soccer to make us happy and provide good content for us. PS: I would love to see Basketball 1v1 on this channel !
Man besides having a bigger goal you should really consider giving the attacking player more space when he starts his run, its so hard to get going when u have no momentum and the defender is so close to you, great video by the way, hoping to see more of this!!!
Deestroying we need you to keep bringing the soccer 1on1s bro cuz this is really dope, bringing out not only the football guys and getting them noticed but also soccer and making them known too.

The fact that you are doing other sports is amazing! Was never a sports fan tbh but i got into American football after watching these 1v1s. Now this i am getting into. Keep it up! Hopefully we get to see more in the future as well!!!!
I think 1s isn’t as hype, having a 2 on 2 or 3v3 tournament would bring the hype more, bring intensity, more competition. Going first to 3 goals or something like that I think would be more entertaining. It also gives a chance to show off passing, play making, and game IQ vs solely striker vs defense. This is coming from a soccer player.
It's not when they don't have the skills. The folks competing here were pretty low level. Top Baller did this in the UK with academy players of top Premier Clubs, literal teenagers just competing for a PS5, and those kids were scoring goals with pretty nice dribbling for fun. Definitely worth a watch to see how it's really done.
Top Baller had a bigger area to let the players have fun, bigger goal, actual good players, if you wanna see some football action hop on TOP BALLER channel
I've been watching the football stuff for awhile but this right here? I got so hyped I was talking out loud to absolutely no one. More of this. This brings me back to when I played. Nostalgic af ❤
Love it Dee. If you want more goals have the defenders start farther back. More space for attackers = more goals. The level of play for pickup soccer isn’t great in tight spaces. Bring this to the bay area!
Keep this up. The US is an untapped market with alot of potential and you could spearhead these 1on1's creating a massive following, no joke. Use a proper pitch, standard goal size with a solid gk, and pool some ballers from academies. There are a few regions that have some real footballers. I don't really agree with the 2v2 format, a 3v3 would be better and you will run into issues with good footballers stacking so maybe randomize teams after the first round. The 1s are where the real test is.
The guy he was referring to as “Messi‘s teammate“ has not played alongside Messi. He said he played beach soccer, not “US men’s B team“ which is what Deestroying said.
@@WangRana thats the attitude difference of football players vs soccer players. football is more individual and wrs are in 1on1s all game, they talk more shit in football than soccer
I think having a full sized goal, and play on a proper pitch, you can use cones or similar to make the field a bit less wide but should be the width of the penalty box. That way it makes it easier for the attacker to score if they burn a defender. And there’s more chance for bangers to be scored by chipping the keeper or putting one top bins
We need more of these vids for sureeee. You cant hate on Deestroying, u just cant. Dudes definitely one of the most respectable RUclipsrs, and athletes out there💪🏼
I don't comment on nothin, but this is EXACTLY what we need to get our youth leagues some attention. Keep building our young teams, and we can have more competition as they get older. Love it D
Was thinking about ways to make the game a bit more fair for the attacking side while preserving the ability to get through like 20 rounds of people quickly, and I think if a shot is on target neither side should get a point.
pairing players up, one defends always and the other one takes care of attacking is also a nice switch, since most players shine in one of those aspects. Also, what we used to do here in Uruguay when I was younger is a smaller ball, smaller goal and no goalie. Fouls should not get a redo
appreciate seeing Deestroying shedding light on the footy culture in the US. would love to see a top baller UK vs deestroying US kick off at some point
Thing is 1v1 in football is difficult at the best of times and to add a goalie makes it even harder but this demonstration highlights the gulf in quality between America and Europe because I'd put money on saying that if you went to Spain or England clear the quality would be much, MUCH higher! Still, great to see Deestroying put on a football (soccer) show!!!
This kind of 1v1 competition favors physical strength. That's not what the US lacks. European and South American players know how to move as a team, and are way more focused. MLS can barely compare to the 3rd or 4th Division in Spain, England, Brazil or Argentina. But I'm quite sure that 1v1 the difference would be smaller.
@@esPabloL Brazil or Argentina are not even in the Top 5 league in the world. They have world class player but they are all playing in europe. England, Spain, Germany, Italy and france are the top five leagues atm. And 1 vs 1 is not to much about physical strenght, but technical ability, pace and shooting. Messi and Neymar were one of the best 1 vs 1 player for a decade and are not particular strong
Hey Dee, found you with the football 1on1's and love to see that you do soccer now. A couple of points to maybe adapt for the next time: You said it yourself: bigger goals so that you can score a lot more the current goals had like Handball size and for a grown goalkeeper this is easy to defend. Here in Europe we have youth goals which are like 5mx2m (16.4 ft x 6.56ft). That should do it. Second, you also suggested it: The controlled nutmeg should be worth something and I would even say end the contest immediately. Wht comes out of it? The defender can't stand as wide and open so there is a lot of chance to go around him and score. With both these points you can also rely on better goalies. Another thing would be to mix in (maybe in the final rounds) a challenge like this (ruclips.net/video/dtgy_OBrVUA/видео.html) but I can see if this doesn't find the 1on1 idea that well.
just an idea but i think it would be cool if you did another one of these videos, you could do different parts of the video something like first round is 1on1's, second round is crossbar challenge and final round is penalties, obviously in a full size goal
Defense definitely has an advantage especially with a good keeper. Should only be able to move on if someone scores. If it’s all defensive points, go until someone scores.
i love the soccer thing. I don't think you know how big this soccer thing will be if you keep doing this.. Soccer has never been considered cool in the usa on any platform.. the fact you're doing this is going to bring more swag to the sport then you can imagine.. you need to do this for women also playa.. keep up the good work man..
Could be more interesting for soccer 1on1s to have someone cross the ball into the box and the two players battling it out to score or to defend. I think you'd get more variety of action - some people would head it, defenders would body, some people would try to one touch volley it... my suggestion since you're trying to figure this format out!
It’s a good idea but then the attacker is at the mercy of the crosser, it would be a lot less fair in that case. Maybe a ball launcher so the ball is always in the same spot
bro at 19:03 when Dee moves out of the way to expose my man looking absolutely caked up mid celebration, I heard a vine boom sound effect go off in my head.🤣
If this gets big and he starts doing it in stadiums with pros we gonna look back on the first episode when he had to put two mini goals together and we gonna laugh
I think instead of bigger goals you should do very small goals with no goalie. That way its purely 1v1 and because of the small goals it will show higher skill if they are from distance and if the defender lets them close enough they offence should be able to score. I think something similar to a lacrosse size goal or slightly bigger with no goalie is the best play.
Awesome addition to the channel! You'll have trouble finding technical ballers like in overseas channels unless you invite more college, USL or MLS academy players (even then not many technically sound players). The technical skills of the average USA player aren't up to par with what you find overseas. If you notice the majority of players are solely one-footed as well making it easier to defend against in 1v1's. Keep it up and good luck!
glad to see football on this channel, always like seeing the american football but this series is gonna be huge. and no, you do not need a bigger goal or space these guys just arent good enough 😅

It's harder to defend and to react for the goalkeeper. We use balls of Nº4 size and we call them Papi football (Pelota de papi futbol). Hope you can use them in the next video to make it more entertaining for the technical players!!!
But all of them was shit
i agree 100%$ not easy with a regular ball, no space , a smaller ball would have been better
Or a bigger goal
This is way too hard to compare performance/ability/talents
If you want good competition. It needs to be on a bigger pitch. Normal size goal and goalie in it.
Or a smaller ball, not the regular size 5, but size 4
I got this from another comment from @alxs893
Most definitely
I think a small pitch is perfectly fine for 1on1, with a small goal without keeper and maybe set a maximum distance for scoring (e.g. attacker has to be inside the box).
Also I don't think you should give points to the defender for a shot on target that was saved. It's difficult to score period, a shot on target should be worth like half a point for the attacker to make it more fair
You a real 1 for shouting mfs out and u need do basketball 1on1s to take this to another level
Thank you for the shout out my guy! 🔝⚽️❤️
love your channel see how big of an impact y’all are doing. Keeping doing these great things🎉
I’ve been saying you guys need a scoreboard with the pics of the players for the longest none of this 2-1 mental count
I'd love to be involved in one of these videos though, been following for ages.
full sized goal for 1v1s is to big, cause you can just shoot from anywhere, without actually having to pass by the defender
@@leveloneej1858that’s why you can’t let them shoot bro , gotta be pressed up on them the whole time , smaller goalie boxes with a good keeper is hard
you could make it like a different kind of point system.
100% need 2v2s or 3v3s , huge part of futbol is teamwork and passing plays.
20:50 “I haven’t won yet stay humble stay humble” greatness awaits you sir
He humbled the dude he beat too cause earlier in the video the other opponet had said "too easy"
Dee, thanks for the Top Baller name drop, they have been putting up awesome content. I definitely agree that you need the full-size goal, and wider space. This allows for the players to more easily express themselves and show some crunching tackles. Something that you may benefit from: Top Baller uses multiple camera angles to keep the content dynamic.
great vid!!! hope to see more deestroying football content
FUTCRUNCH I LOVE U AND UR VIDEOS
Soccer bro
@@rybcia7816 He not american
I love ur videos 🤩

Dude I really love and appreciate Dee. He is doing so many things for is fans and even tries out other sport like soccer to make us happy and provide good content for us.
PS: I would love to see Basketball 1v1 on this channel !
Austin Texas Old settlers park
he was football ⚽️ player after all
U should go to highschool futbol games and bring a crowd this sport needs it in USA
Man besides having a bigger goal you should really consider giving the attacking player more space when he starts his run, its so hard to get going when u have no momentum and the defender is so close to you, great video by the way, hoping to see more of this!!!
This is the big one, you saw how many plays got stopped right out the gate and that kinda defeats the point
@@felixmk1715 If u get rushed then take a long touch right behind them on the first touch. I see what yall are saying though
@@bulletzzz3 sure but it’s still basically a 50-50 if they deflect it especially when they’re pinging it at them and there’s ppl surrounding them
These should definitely be a regular thing, so much soccer talent out there. Larger goals will be 🔥
Deestroying we need you to keep bringing the soccer 1on1s bro cuz this is really dope, bringing out not only the football guys and getting them noticed but also soccer and making them known too.
Pls make more of these videos as a soccer fan I have wanted a video like this for a while
I don't mind seeing this as a series🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man, this is a huge way to expand Dee's brand. Keep up the good stuff!
Just wait until my Mexican uncles Sunday league team finds out about this challenge 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
they gon show up and cook
your uncles team would get slammed with the -80 goal difference they got
Mexico has no talent lol
Football(soccer) is blowing up in american...they just built a huge stadium in Saint Louis Missouri and we got a football team now part of the MLS this year..def blowing up..great content
W dee for giving all these young kids a chance at greatness
Deestroying never disappoints! Hoping to reach your level someday. Keep up the great content
i love your name and im a fan of patrick so I must say... you GOT THIS BRO!
Dee started this one on one thing, Top Baller took inspiration from it and Dee gave them a shoutout without having to, respect this man
It was low key mean who started it
1 on 1 football has been a thing for years in the uk and on RUclips
Love the format. Keep it going!
The fact that you are doing other sports is amazing! Was never a sports fan tbh but i got into American football after watching these 1v1s. Now this i am getting into. Keep it up! Hopefully we get to see more in the future as well!!!!
Great way to get people into soccer who really aren't, im eager to see how far this goes! LETS GOOOO!!!
Ay run it in Orlando or PSL cmon now
I think 1s isn’t as hype, having a 2 on 2 or 3v3 tournament would bring the hype more, bring intensity, more competition. Going first to 3 goals or something like that I think would be more entertaining. It also gives a chance to show off passing, play making, and game IQ vs solely striker vs defense. This is coming from a soccer player.
Yah soccer 2v2 would make way more sense cuz rn a goalie could be sellin purposely and nb would know
I agree, let people see why it's called the beautiful game💯
Agreed!
@@Liam-tr8jfyeah they don't play as well here in the us
It's not when they don't have the skills. The folks competing here were pretty low level. Top Baller did this in the UK with academy players of top Premier Clubs, literal teenagers just competing for a PS5, and those kids were scoring goals with pretty nice dribbling for fun. Definitely worth a watch to see how it's really done.
Respect for showing love to the soccer community!
"football" not soccer 🤐
I appreciate this bro! For all the Deestroying supporters that are FUTBOL fans. We loving this content!! 🔥🔥🔥
Yes! This is fresh new content, and opens you up to a whole new group of fans
Maybe start off with big goals, then the money round keep it small? I think that could help!
good suggestion
Its because in the 5 a side league most of them play in they play there and it's easier
Top Baller had a bigger area to let the players have fun, bigger goal, actual good players, if you wanna see some football action hop on TOP BALLER channel
I agree. Money round should be smaller goal and first to score.
I love the exposure D, futbol is getting bigger in the US
Heck yeah! Keep em coming! Maybe some 2v2’s as well.. opens up a whole new avenue for creativity and crazy plays
That was dope of you to shout out the UK boys who've been carving this niche. Once again, it's the little things that make Deestroying a Legend!
Check the UBF 1v1 in Miami .

This was super fun! Please do more :D
I’m not even a big soccer fan but this was fun to watch, keep this series going
Crazy to see Dee bring some love to the soccer/fútbol world. Next round no goalie do a shootout style
Deestroying is a real one for showing love to the soccer players
This is dope need more soccer 1v1s
I got the noti while I was watching the UK top baller vids and was just thinking if deestroying did this it would be fire. We got blessed 🔥
I like the variety that Deestroying is bringing to get people name out there fr
The guy he was referring to as “Messi‘s teammate“ has not played alongside Messi. He said he played beach soccer, not “US men’s B team“ which is what Deestroying said.
Who was he referring to btw?
This series is gonna be amazing! Definitely got me watching and gonna get a new crowd of people to watch you !!
We need more of these fútbol videos asappppp!!!
They are so much more calmer and polite. Crazy, wish they could be like that with the football ones on ones
I mean American Football is more physical so things can get heated and overcompetitive
@@WangRana thats the attitude difference of football players vs soccer players. football is more individual and wrs are in 1on1s all game, they talk more shit in football than soccer
You should do shooting and free kick competitions as well! Love that you did this, soccer players and football players don't need to hate each other
I think having a full sized goal, and play on a proper pitch, you can use cones or similar to make the field a bit less wide but should be the width of the penalty box.
That way it makes it easier for the attacker to score if they burn a defender. And there’s more chance for bangers to be scored by chipping the keeper or putting one top bins
Dee coming in with Costa Rica’s real sport, pura vida 💪
this video compared to the ones in the uk rlly shows the skill gap between europe and america when it comes to socccer
its awesomme that deestroying acknowledeged the other guys who started doing these soccer 1v1. class act
Always a good day when deestroying uploads
A real defensive masterclass, really enjoyable watch❤
We need more of these vids for sureeee. You cant hate on Deestroying, u just cant. Dudes definitely one of the most respectable RUclipsrs, and athletes out there💪🏼
Deestroying and Messi literally making soccer in the USA great again
A couple of points to maybe adapt for the next time:
You said it yourself: bigger goals so that you can score a lot more the current goals had like Handball size and for a grown goalkeeper this is easy to defend.
Another thing would be to mix in (maybe in the final rounds) a challenge like this (ruclips.net/video/dtgy_OBrVUA/видео.html) but I can see if this doesn't find the 1on1 idea that well.
terrible idea
Nutmegs should not end it immediately thats dumb af
This was banger vid bro pls do more this
just an idea but i think it would be cool if you did another one of these videos, you could do different parts of the video something like first round is 1on1's, second round is crossbar challenge and final round is penalties, obviously in a full size goal
Defense definitely has an advantage especially with a good keeper. Should only be able to move on if someone scores. If it’s all defensive points, go until someone scores.
i love the soccer thing. I don't think you know how big this soccer thing will be if you keep doing this.. Soccer has never been considered cool in the usa on any platform.. the fact you're doing this is going to bring more swag to the sport then you can imagine.. you need to do this for women also playa.. keep up the good work man..
someone said lineman 1v1s would go crazy. i think if lineman’s did soccer 1v1s that would be crazyy 😂
We all really appreciate the support for the beautiful game I hope more of these vids are on the way great stuff!
Conner is the man. Talk about being on point and focus. You can see that he has great technique and skill. Congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏
bro at 19:03 when Dee moves out of the way to expose my man looking absolutely caked up mid celebration, I heard a vine boom sound effect go off in my head.🤣
If this gets big and he starts doing it in stadiums with pros we gonna look back on the first episode when he had to put two mini goals together and we gonna laugh
Ain’t No Way DEESTROYING Does Soccer
Football* have some respect my fellow american
I think instead of bigger goals you should do very small goals with no goalie. That way its purely 1v1 and because of the small goals it will show higher skill if they are from distance and if the defender lets them close enough they offence should be able to score. I think something similar to a lacrosse size goal or slightly bigger with no goalie is the best play.
Yessssss I’m on 0:30 and was geeked to see this. Much luv for this sport ( come thru Milwaukee?) lmao
I was thinking the same thing bro
