@@shaunhutley6098 it’s certainly a good piece of kit from my experience… I was a bit of a Turkey in one of my Fish’O qualifiers and was having a tussel with what I can only describe as a monster of an F1 at tunnel barn farm and needed to put an extra section on, grabbed the resting pole and tried to lift it on only one pole roller… and snapped the end of my 3rd section… I ordered the replacement at my local tackle shop, but the anglers there recommended I get a short section 3 from the MTX3 range… the difference between the MTX 1, 2, 3 and 4 is literally 3 things, stiffness, bend ability and lightness… putting a short section 3 on and losing 50cm in distance was the best decision I made… it has ensured at full extension the MTX1 is mega stiff, lighter but still with plenty of bend… it feels like it made the pole into an MTX2.5 😂 just at 12.5m… just something to think about but I’ll try cover it in a video! 👍🏻 BB
@@FirstTimeFishing ok mate for your information also I'm thinking getting a new margin pole looking at the matrix margin pole the one you done a review on mate 👍🎣
@@shaunhutley6098 That Matrix Margin Pole is my go to pole! If I don’t need the distance and I’m after 2lb+ fish, I use the Torque every time! It’s been so reliable! 👍🏻 BB
Hi BB. I'm looking to buy a margin pole. Are you still of the same opinion about the Torque Margin Pole?
Can’t go wrong John… love it, absolutely love it mate… I wouldn’t swap mine for ANY other Margin Poles… hope that helps 😂👍🏻 BB
@@FirstTimeFishing ,Thanks very much BB, you have really helped with my decision.
@@johnward8986 Let me know what you think John… you’ll be able to bully the Carp out the margins… just use strong enough tackle mate… for 6lb+ carp, black or grey hydrolastic, 0.22 (9lb) line, size 14 wider gaped banded hook with 0.19 (7lb) hook length and a size 6/8mm pellet fished over some 2mm pellets and you’ll be absolutely loving life with the Torque mate! That’s pretty much what I did in my ‘Simple Margin Fishing’ video at Tunnel Barn Farm… Let me know 👍🏻 BB
@@FirstTimeFishing Thanks for the advise BB. Is the Euro Torque the same but longer?
@@johnward8986 you have the option of buying it at 4.5m, 6m, 8.5m or the Euro versions are 9m or 10.5m, so you pick the length you want… the euro versions are hard to get hold of, but I’d have loved to have seen what the 10.5m is like 😳 👍🏻 BB
tbh i bought the sensas 1005 and its far better when i tested it plus all my top kits from my 954 fit
Never tried the Sensas Sean! But I’ll be trying to hunt one down now… cause that Torque Carp pole is unbelievable! So I can’t wait to see what the Sensas is like! 👍🏻 BB
@@FirstTimeFishing margin fishing if that's you want middy 30+ elastics bit heavy but a beast of a pole land anything
Can you get an extension for this pole bud
Hi Michael… it comes with a mini extension to make it the 8.5m from 8m, matrix don’t do extensions for this pole but they give you the option of buying it at 4.5m, 6m, 8.5m or the Euro versions are 9m or 10.5m, so you pick the length you want… the euro versions are hard to get hold of, but I’d have loved to have seen what the 10.5m is like 😳 👍🏻 BB
Thanks mate, looking into this pole, what length are the top kits please
@@michaelchandler3485 I’ve absolutely googled the hell out of this and nothing tells me, (guessing you did the same) to save me getting mine out… my torque top kits are all power top 2 kits and 1.4m per section, so 2.8m together but once fed into each other, about 2.7m mate, hope that helps 👍🏻 BB
@@FirstTimeFishing yes lol I googled it and emailed matrix, who then couldn't give me an answer as didn't know lol thank you for your help bud
Ok so correct me or just tell me to STFU but if it’s so strong that it can take 15lb+ carp and it’s so light with extra strong reinforced ends then why don’t Matrix just make a 16m pole that does the same 🤔
😆 cause it isn’t that light mate 😆 it’s great at 8.5m… but would be horrendous at 16 ☺️ for a margin pole, it’s phenomenal! 👍🏻 BB
@@FirstTimeFishing I’ll be getting one 👍🏻
