    Yay! Over a thousand subs! Now you can make pennies an ad! That was an awesome camp, thanks for sharing. I remember a thunderstorm that sat on top of my tent. Thunder was so loud I covered my ears with each flash. For all the rain that came down, I only had a little come in the tent.

    Hi Stephanie. Great campground. Well, maybe except for the tornado warning. Suggestion for leveling your camper. I have two stick on levels on the front corner of my camper. One for side level and one for front to back. Having them saves time and steps by not having to run to your door to check with a torpedo level. You can get larger sized ones that will allow you to check your side to side level by looking at it from your side view mirror on your truck while you're pulling into the site. The front and back level is attached just around the corner so it is close to your tongue jack. Hope this is a helpful suggestion. Keep up the great videos.

    Nice grounded (no pun intended) vid. As I mentioned in your FPP State Park vid, I'm soaking up RUclips RV living as I'm taking the plunge too. I'm getting my house ready for a sign as I type this. I have now duly noted the importance of a nearby cinder block structure. Tornados and similar suck... especially in a 3000 lb. house. Are you ever going out west? Colorado, Montana, Utah, Arizona, etc? It seems nursing's in high demand everywhere. You could probably work as much as you want... where ever you want.

      @lifewithstephanie42 You betcha! Side note... I can tell you're in Florida since you use a shining sun instead of a smiley face. 😊... wait... 🌞. My sis lived in Daytona for 25 years. Pretty state, but the increasing frequency and severity of 'canes has to make you guys nervous. I'm a cyclist and plan on taking my bicycles on this extended trip. So, type 2 fun mountainous national parks are on my radar. This is my biggest challenge creatively with a small truck and trailer... storing and securing high-end bikes out of the weather. Is the housing market picking up in FL? Here in the midwest, starter homes like mine are on fire. I'm hurrying to ride the wave. 🙂

    I see in another one of your videos that you had a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 before switching to a Toyota Tundra. Did the Tacoma not pull your E-pro trailer okay, or did you have difficulties with it towing your trailer?

    • @lifewithstephanie42
      @lifewithstephanie42  Месяц назад

      An unfortunate event made me get another truck but I decided on a Tundra instead. . The Tacoma pulled fine, I had no difficulties pulling my trailer with it ☀️

      @dougmclendon7785 Месяц назад

      @@lifewithstephanie42 Sorry about the unfortunate event, but glad to hear the Tacoma pulled it just fine as it is probably more comparable to the towing capacity of my Explorer than the Tundra is. I'll be picking my trailer up in New Jersey and dragging it back home to Florida, thus all the questions about your truck(s) ability to tow it. I'm not expecting to get great gas mile (my Explorer normally gets about 22 mpg), but I'll be happy as long as it gets me and my new GeoPro back to Florida.

    Your videos are very helpful in preparing me to take delivery of my GeoPro 15TB this week. Quick question for you. What is the year and trim package of your Toyota Tundra truck, and does it pull your trailer good?

      @@lifewithstephanie42 Thanks for the info. I'll be pulling mine with a 2022 Ford Explore King Ranch. Your truck has more towing capacity than my Explorer, but I've done all the math and feel fairly confident my Explorer will be able to pull mine okay. I'll find out soon enough next week.

  • @woofman4796

    2 questions, have you had any issues with your camper, and do you really think that a sway control hitch is necessary?? My colorado has a 7000 lb tow rating, and your camper is a smidge over 7 foot wide and under 20 feet long, I don't think I would get a sway hitch if I got 1, I like your videos, I have been sharing them with my wife, any and all info is appreciated, thank you

    • @lifewithstephanie42
      @lifewithstephanie42  Месяц назад +1

      I have not had any major issues with my trailer. The issues I had in the beginning were very minor or from ignorance on my part. It’s been a learning process for sure 👍 This little trailer is squirly when it’s windy on the freeway so, yes, the sway control makes a difference. I’ve tried it with and without and I feel a difference. I’m glad I got it 👍 especially if I’m taking it across the country I feel better that I have it ☀️
