Do you know the names of these two singers and whether they are still performing? They are like one of those talented groups that could really have hit it big time.
This was a top Japanese musical show featuring the best musicians. It was in NHK, the national broadcasting station, which has very high standards. It ran from the mid 1990,s until around 2003 when the duo “Rua” broke up. This brother and sister duo had become the face of the show. They were often called “The carpenters of the East”. Christy has some lovely deep tones to her voice like Karen Carpenter, and Clinton is a brilliant musician like Richard Carpenter. Veterans from overseas who visited Japan often featured on the show. For example: Paul, from Peter, Paul and Mary; Gilbert O’Sullivan who loved Rua’s cover of ‘Alone again, naturally’; and Stevie Wonder who wrote a song for Rua to sing on the show. It was called, Seishun no Pops, or Pops of our Youth, and fans from around Japan could send in requests.
仲の良い、お姉ちゃんと弟❤見てて安心ですし、楽しくなりますね。お二人共、お幸せに、ご結婚もされたそうで、何より嬉しいです。また、いつか素敵なハーモニーを、お聞かせ願いたいですね。
