There was a kid fighting a hi-speed chase that ended in a d**th. They put him in a Northerner pod & his celly happened to be the "Overall Authority." So he kept to himself, he didn't bust down w them "nothin".... Just did his time. When trial came up they hit him w a gang enhancement due to a shooting in the same area of the chase (had absolutely nothing to do w him.) So they tapped his cell & while his celly was making a call on someone who had to go, they used that recording "in his trial" to say he was the main shot-caller for the Ene's & to get him an enhancement...... It was crazy & ridiculous. When I last talked to him he made it back on appeal but still the DA's abuse the s*** out of them gang enhancements. They initially gave him 80yrs on that but im sure he beat enhancements.

Had similar experience as the first story. The system labeled me as a NH since day one. At the time there wasn’t many that understood. so after almost a decade I walked out the system with that label. In retrospect it was a wild experience yet the brotherhood was good to me.
Only time they would ask a resident to some business is if the resident wants to put in work and get status or if the target is another resident and needs a calentada.
So if the person that needs checking is a resident or non affiliate, you're saying it's usually other residents that will normally be tasked to take care of that?

But if there no residents in the area they just put any Homie typically same size and height. I went to prison in 2010 doing 5 at 85% in California and wasn’t gang affiliated. An order came down to do a removal it was passed to an affiliated member who was from my area he came to me said was i ready to put in work. Me trying to be solid went to the yard to see what I was doing well the order was as to remove a skin head who tried secretly running up a dope debt. There was a little flack because I wasn’t a skin head but the dude they were removing came out to yard and I had just met my wing man but didn’t get to talk to him before their sending us after him. What’s sad I had worked with the dude in the print shop at pia and actually kinda liked the dude. Being so fresh though I thought I couldn’t say no and me and my wing man I had never said a word to are now running across the yard at the dude. After being painted orange and then going to ad seg for a week I was inducted as an affiliate because I couldn’t become a skinhead in prison. Though from then onwards I only reported to the skinhead shot caller and that basically put me ahead of the guy who had the keys for my county who they didn’t like anyway and who was actually supposed to go on the mission not me. I then was put in the cell with another skinhead after a week in the hole. The cos were messing with me to because they had to pack up my stuff and said most people would have their property all pack up for the hole. I’m like I’m new here my handle became lost from then on. I also had it tatted on my neck the skate surf company logo which didn’t help. Joining the gang without knowing what the hell I was doing.
