I'm in Thailand atm, its still pretty warm and we have been here for 5 weeks and have only got 3 days rain. There is plenty of markets so you can buy so much out here. In terms of booking hotels make sure to check Agoda, it gives you the best prices for hotels and if you can be relaxed about planning some islands are better than others and you might want to stay an extra day, hope you have an amazing trip x

I went to Thailand 2 years ago and I really liked the place.
Welcome to Thailand ! Please remember to always ask taxi with meters when you are in Bangkok if they don’t have it just look for a new taxi or not they will try to charge you more then you should. ps.not every city in Thailand have taxi meter. :)

Definitely getting one of those foot hammocks before my next flight back to Australia, thought I had long haul travel down but that's such a great tip!
I use a foot hammock for all of my flights over 6 hours. It's the best and so cheap! Next grab a blow up neck pillow. It saves so much room in your carry on

I know what you mean with the hand luggage!! My bag got left behind in the airport for 3 days so I was on a school trip in Berlin with literally nothing, now I make sure half my clothes are in my hand luggage 😂😂

I hope you have an amazing time. I can't wait to go to Thailand in my gap year 😁 btw ordering a plain cheeseburger doesn't mean it's fresh. I work there and everything is made fresh apart from the meat. The meat is cooked and then put in a heater to keep it warm. It's assembled fresh when the order comes but then the meat from the heater
It basically always is fresh because we don't pre make the food anymore
